They are reworking them because they were op and are unbalancable. You're a dumbass. A rework is intended to solve this issue

Too much strength in their kits, too little weakness to play around. Hear 6.14 podcast and riot will explain it to you

When has a rework ever fixed anything? (Excluding Poppy Warwick Taric )

Yeah, always exclude the good ones...

There definetely has been some bad/less good reworks (Sion, Yorick eg.) But there has also been a lot of good ones, like the ones you mentioned. Talon is a good example.

He is still Talon, but with more features as well, which was the thing Talon needed. A raw buff would make him crazy good for solo queue.

Azir is the opposite. Too much strength without clear strength and weakness. There is a theory that goes - The more overloaded a champion is, the better it is for LCS.

Think about it. When Azir was at 47% wr (yes, 47), he was the the mid lane meta entirely because he straight out does anything any other mid does, and even more as well.

Riot wants to cut some of that power down and give him clear weakness

Okay so the one thing that really bothers me about Azir is that he is treated like an anomaly. Most people who talk about him as the be all do all monster are just saying so from word of mouth. But aside from that, you mention that champions who are more overloaded, are typically better and chosen more in the LCS despite maybe not having a dominant win rate. So while we are leaving Azir at the bottom of the mid lane pit, why is Jhin being buffed back up so dominantly despite the fact that he was still being picked in the majority of LCS games. Jhin is literally the "Azir" of the bot lane, except instead of being left to rot, he is heralded by the community and allowed to suck the diversity out of bot lane. This is my whole irk with reworks. Riot just randomly chooses champs like Azir to alter and let their mains suffer, ignoring any and all feedback, while other champs like Jhin who have the exact same problem get to stay the way they are and ignore what is happening to a chunk of the League community.

What are you talking about? Jhin doesn't have mobility and self-peel even close to Azir's level...

Azir has either been the best mid laner or just unplayable ever since his release. There is no in between

Jhin has had one period where he was top tier because of how popular lethality and CC ad carries were. Varus and Jhin were the top dogs.

Lethality gets nerfed/crit gets buffed -> People start going ashe instead and changing Varus from being lethality into attack speed

Jhin is not anywhere close to being as overloaded as Azir. Sure, he brings some good CC and does decent damage, but he doesnt have a dash that can cross multible walls, a wall that bounces everyone away, a freaking turret, 1200+ range autoattacks, a HUGE mid game attack speed steroid and a slow on 7 seconds cooldown. Azir is practically unkillable in a teamfight. You can just dash away or hide behind your wall. Jhin doesn't have safety even close to Azir.

TLDR: Azir is beyond broken, Jhin was FotM with lethality and CC ad carries being meta
