I think that the main reason why Rengar is seemingly broken...

Before, you could just upgrade those items. The entire team could do that and screw over Rengar. Now you need to waste 100 gold each time if you want to know that Rengar is nearby. You can't do that if you are already at full build, and doing that at the mid or late game is hard if all your slots are already occupied. You are forced to set yourself behind in terms of stats so that you can have a slot for a pink ward.

Not only that, but the meta was changed. Before, there were lots of popular champions that could peel for carries. Lulu and Alistar for example. They are no longer popular, the meta is now centered around assassins and bruisers that have little utility.

thats exacly why we need a slot for pinks like the trinket does RITO HEAR ME OUT, WE NEED TO WARD WHEN FULL BUILD BUT ITS NOT WORTH SELLING AN ITEM

It is more of the vision nerfs to season 6 due to this you can't get as many wards as a team in the enemy jungle to spot the location of rengo and see where he would flank from etc.

He's not even broken. He always was able to delete ADCs, people just flock to bandwagons when the meta changes.

Invisibility is too strong right now. What about wards can see somone who is invis IF there are no champs within 1000 range. So if you have wards in jg, you can see him go through if no one is around, but if no one is warding, you still won't see him running around nearby and dropping a ward doesn't invalidate invis in the immediate vicinity. Otherwise trinket needs a pink upgrade again.

invis is only strong if your team sucks at putting red wards out, its not that hard or expensive, and ive played on plenty of random teams already that understand this. Vision changes have left some games with MORE vision than ever before because teams are actually dropping 5 pink wards by mid game.

You are sadly mistaken. Both scanners can detect stealthed champions. The only thing the preseason changed so far as trinkets and stealth champions interact is that you can no longer use targeted abilities (including auto-attacks) on stealth champions that you detect.

That's not really accurate. They detect stealth champions but they do so with a slight delay - it's very useful for catching people like Twitch who are only running, or people like Akali who are stuck in one spot, but by the time you see Rengar with the red trinket he's jumping on you. The delay doesn't allow for the reaction time you need against him, though I'd argue it works against almost every other stealth champ and I've used it to great effect against others.
