A Sion Buffs wishlist

Spoofghoul··15 votes·1,684 views

Ok so none of this is happening ofc but they are things on my wishlist for Sion nothing too fancy

If i were to give Sion buffs these would be it.

Buff 1 Higher base armor. Starting at 2 extra. And +1 per level extra.

Total change from 74 to 94.

This would be so sweet makes farming that health worth a little bit more too.

Ok on to the next thing.

Buff 2 item 3060 item 3512 Now work with Sions W passive and give health if their respective minions kill stuff.

And finally.

Buff 3 Sion can now use summoner spells during his passive.

Yea thats it you guys got Sion buff wishlists? Post them below.

As a sion main, please. Please. PLEASE. Don't buff him. I like having him underestimated by every most lane bullies and then blow have their health away with a w > e > q combo. Sion is immensely strong if you know how to utilize your e most effectively (bonus dmg vs armor shred) and being a very very good cser. Plus he is never banned and probably never will be and i'd rather that stay the same

I'd be fine with the armor buffs honestly. Would make %pen not as much as a nightmare for him when building armor.

Whats your typical build for him? I usually have an all around stable build path starting off with sunfire in most matchups when even because of the augmented wave clear and insane trading potential in conjunction with grasp (almost impossible to lose a trade when you do your full combo plus proccing grasp 1-2 times) After sunfire its IBG for the sheen dmg + aoe slow (if you have rift herald with these 2 items youre doing renekton level damage) Now, with these two items alone you have roughly 200 armor and probably more if you run full tank/resistance flat + scaling runes like it do. After that you dont need much more armor because you could go spirit visage for regen buffs which imo is one of the best survivability items there is. After those 3 core items you have the freedom to go randuins, frozen heart, rot etc and if you're farming well which you have no excuse not to with a sunfire and ibg you should average 200 bonus hp per 10 minutes (more if youre ahead) so by 30 mins youre at 3.5k hp and translate into a terrifying cc chaining monster whom early game was doing dmg on par with a renekton

That's usually my build. Though I've only gotten herald buff once.

With it I went from starting to lose against Akali top to "everything is dead".

Sion's pretty perfect. I see no reason to buff him or change him in any way.

i have a karthus wishlist.

Karthus shorter cooldown on R Karthus R deals 50% AP+200/300/500+4 times enemies missing hp to all enemies Karthus gets 30 bonus AP for every unique champion killed with R up to a total of 150AP Karthus Wall of pain causes targets to bleed magic resist the further they walk away from a wall they passed through dealing true damage at max range equal to 10% total enemies magic resist. item 3089 can be worn by Karthus at 30 kills. using the dance emote as Karthus extends the range of his defile as long as Karthus remains in dance mode

I don't mind #3 everything else no in all honesty. I've never seen a Sion have any problem with being super tanky. His base armor, health and armor per level are lower to deal with the infinite bonus health he can gain.

Spoofghoul2 votes

makes him less reliant on bonus health compared to other beefy champs he needs between 600-900 to go even in tankyness

many of those champions can then still utilize a few tank steroids sion doesnt have acces to

getting more then 1000 health in a game doesnt really happen much its heavility dependant on game lenght and whatever is happening in game like how much you need to group

meanwhile you are dependant on this health to be as beefy as other tanks at a certain point you get more beefy then most but thats only ever beyond the 40 minute mark if not later

I guess my main objective with that buff would be to make him less reliant on the w passive

the zzrot/banner buff is to make those items less counterproductive for the same reasons i already mentioned

I guess thats the TL version ^^ didn't post for a reason :)

but if i had to pick 1 it'd be nr 3 aswell ^^

I would really prefer some changes to his passive. Because i hate it when things doesn't scale like they should scale, for example, missle cooldown on Corki's Ult, or pre-rework nida's Prowl were not benefiting from CDR. And nowadays, sion's passive clearly doesn't benefit from any AS items you get on him.

P.S. I would also like AP scaling buff because one time i played AP sion in aram was pretty sweet :3

Being able to charge up his Q while ulting. Not a big buff, but would be quite fun running at people yelling "WAR!!!!!!!!!" with a large axe above your head.

Banner/Zz'rot should probably give Sion passive stacks. It still gives Sion gold, why shouldn't they give him stacks too?

Buff 3 I think would be a bit too much for little gain. It might improve the reliability of his passive once in 10 games or so, but considering it's already hard to get things done during Sion's passive and you'd probably prefer to just use his summoner spells while alive it probably won't see much use.

The changes I personally want to see for Sion is to flip his scalings to actually work off his infinitely scaling health. Champions that have infinite scaling mechanics are designed to be weak early and scale hard late, but Sion is a lane bully that falls off late. Having that health stacking mechanic feels like such a waste as a result, and should probably be changed such that Sion actually feels good about getting to the late game with all his health.

zzrot does give sion stacks though..? I've had over 900 bonus hp in 30 mins because i was against a splitpush heimer build whom rushed rot.

He means when Sion's ZZ rot kills a minion gives Sion stacks that I think still does since Cho'gath passive works off it can't confirm for Sion since I don't build it personally.

All sion needs is a +12 hp per level since his base HP sucks dick and he has to farm like a madman just to get even in base HP with many other durable champions like darius.

+.5 base armor per level, he shouldn't get too much free base armor. That's about it IMO. Perhaps a little better steer-ability on his ult would be nice.

Darius is just straight up better than every other bruiser right now honestly. Bruisers as a whole aren't doing too great but, as it stands, he's reigns from the top as the king of the class.

Buffs I would like to see:

Sion's passive has permanantely increased movement speed.

W should scale with the health he has gained from its passive.

Q should still go off if it's interrupted.

Passive should last for a set amount of time rather than last until health decays. (This would most likely result in the life steal being removed.)

It should become gradually harder to steer the longer Sion ults. In other words, it will be easiest to steer at the beginning of the ult.

tbh sion needs to be faster / immune to disables during his passive.

Its seriously frustrating

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

for a champ that has infinite scaling on hp giving him a buff to armor base and scaling per lvl where he also has a shield and his passive to kill from the grave isnt really gonna happen. i understand it would be a buff and a wish list.... and well thats all its gonna be

if anything id change the charge/cast time on his Q so its more effective to hit. when i face sion top im usually Maokai and i can use my W to counter sions Q and get free damage while you miss Q

His base stats are so shitty you have to farm perfectly and accrue numerous kills to break even with most top-lane tank bases (same for poor Shen too). The problem with Riot is that sometimes they cripple a champion's stats or bases in order to make up for one weird mechanic, but not for their favorites. Anyways, I'd argue for much higher base health from around levels 1-6 and level 18 health, but everything between then I don't give a damn about. Otherwise I agree wholeheartedly for your list.

Berserknurple1 votes

Sion also has much higher potential damage than other top lane tanks, very long ranged poke, great cc, and the potential to be tankier than any of them could hope to be if you can farm correctly. He needs no buffs. Sincerely, a Sion main.

Berserknurple1 votes

Uhhhh... Sion does NOT need a buff. As a Sion main early game is not an issue for him in the vast majority of matchups. You don't need higher armor for any reason, you can infinitely stack health. If Sion had no weaknesses (such as lower health if you can't farm correctly) he would be massively overpowered. Sion has a solid winrate, in fact I think he's one of the best examples of a balanced champion in league currently. He has a ton of damage and tankiness, but he requires you to predict enemy movements and land skillshots. Very mobile champions are his weakness, and rightly so.

Limrick1 votes

I just want 50% tenacity in passive.

Scoroct1 votes

The only thing I would like is maybe a small %hp scaling on his shield dmg (sions hp that is, so that the more hp he gets it also gets stronger, although this could very quickly start getting overkill vs squishies) or maybe some sort of %hp dmg on his passive autos. Just something to make the hp stacking he has a bit more valuable to his kit besides just wanting to become ever so slightly tankier than his fellow tanks if the game goes long and he is doing well.

Oh and while i expect it to be broken I would like him to keep going if his ult kills something like it did on pbe once xD

Pokemichael1 votes

Actually, the banner and zzrot minions do give him bonus HP because it counts as him getting CS.

Wind Whistler1 votes

How about they add him back into the game first LOL
