I have nothing against supporting other players in ARAM, I do however have an issue if I am forced to do so in ranked. The logic behind this is simple, I will only support if the chance of winning is higher than if I didn't. This is because supports have a higher win rate in ARAM compared to other game mode.

This means that support as a role suffers from inexperience and unqualified players. Your mentality shines a poor light on the role for people who consider taking it up. Saying that you think there is a lower chance to win with you playing support in ranked is only true if you let it be true. All it takes is learning a few champions to allow you to take up the role confidently in a ranked match.
