The problem with adcs atm is critical chance.

As mentioned by many on the boards critical chance is what makes adcs toxic. Adcs are supposed to be DAMAGE PER SECOND champions whose priority is melting objectives. With crit chance adcs become BURST PER SECOND champs and it's easy to see how it is toxic for a ranged champ to have that much burst CONSISTENTLY with no drawback since autoattacks dont need resources ( except Graves Jhin ) what should we do about it? i've seen many suggest crit chance to be reworked into something that amplifies dmg per auto attack something like fervor same design different numbers and interactions and i do find it interesting to do so. cause i'm sorry ( not sorry piss of ad players) but getting oneshoted by someone from range while the said champ is beeing protected by another champ while also having extreme amonts of lifesteal and extreme amounts of shields isnt interactive gameplay. You just get fucked over and you cant do anything and when you reach a semi decent elo ( lets say diamond) where people learn the basics of peeling and kiting melee champs simply get fucked over too hard. Ofc there is human error when it comes down to adcs and they can get blown up but relying on human error to balance champs isnt exactly good...at least imo. Yes i'm biased towards adc and especially their playerbase but this post isnt made to rant it's a discussion suggestion. dunno what can be done with adcs but i'm sure that i dont like getting oneshotted in seconds by champs that have 400more range on me consistently and their dmg beeing 1:unblockable without shields 2:consistent with no drawbacks.

I still like my idea about an item with a dodge active.

like Jax E. yeh but it will be easily abused if it sint melee only

Ralanr1 votes

Except it wouldn't be a stun. Sure Jax would be a big abuser, but it would help assassins from getting deleted by two ADC autos before their combo goes off.

yeh ik not the stun part i mean the interaction with auto's.

You mean how it's meant to dodge autos?

That's the point. The active would probably have a lengthy cooldown.

I thought mirage blade was a blink.

As I do on most of these threads, because everyone seems to forget about him, Gangplank would be heavily affected by changes to crit. He would probably need an unique interaction with the stat if it becomes ramp-up damage like Fervor.

Apart from that, I generally do agree with ya

agree with gp needing a mini rework if something like that happens

I would rather crit become a unique passive because 2 crit items basically removes the RNG. Make the Zeal items separate from each other, buff Essence Reaver a bit, leave IE as is.

Crit chance being reworked into % amplifying damage will not change the fact they do too much damage on average, are too well protected. If they play well ofc, which is why adc's are like meh/bad in low elo and good in higher elos. But that brings us to the ever lasting problem : champions requiring skill should not mean they have to be overpowered when mastered.

Really wish people would stop hiding behind the "but they don't need resources" arguments. Stop pretending that you're going oom on anybody 30 minutes into the game when (non-hyperfed) ADCs are finally doing monster damage. It's okay for Lux to take half their HP with an E from across the map, but they shouldn't be able to do similar damage with their PRIMARY METHOD OF ATTACK? Yeah I don't think so. God forbid an Ahri finally lands one of the million charms she's thrown at you in the past 45 seconds or you're dead, but yeah you should totally have to "Ramp up" your damage over like 10 autos before you're useful.

Literally everybody besides full tanks do monstrous amounts of damage when they're at full build, that's just how it works. Pick a champion that can 1v1 a fed ADC or just stop trying to 1v1 a fed ADC, it's that simple.

Varus is the weakest adc by a huge margin . People say luc is weak but what makes him weak
