Was in early S4, and I was told it was the current #1 priority. Was also promised an awesome ultimate buff that still bears strong similarity to the current R.

No such changes have yet occurred D`:. Rito, pls? Just played him, and he's still a shtload of fun :c.

PS. His E is currently maxed first, so whatever you replace it with should probably still be his "Max first," skill. His Q/W, even if buffed, would be poor candidates for being his priority skills because one is utility and one is a preemptively set trap, and he's supposed to be a dangerous jungle assassin whom can, y'know, gank well.

if E were replaced with something, i would max W, fear duration increased, and with mr pene runes/masteries it would deal let me have a duel potential

E is his least iconic skill, it's just maxed because it helps him gank better due to better reliable CC and more damage. Being an assassin, it makes sense.

W's problem is that Shaco is a jungle assassin and wants to gank. His W is his LEAST reliable skill in his entire kit. Half the time my allies charge the second I Q, rendering it useless, and the other half is they just walk away from it, basically just making them take a longer route.

As is, if your W procs on the enemy, they're probably dead even if they flash. Buffing it would be redundant. He's already a great duelist as well.

Also incredibly unreliable. You really want your ganks to rely on A. Your teammates not being unfamiliar with Shaco mechanics and B. Your lanes all have hard CC to force them next to your box because most of your strength is tied into your W?

Boxes cut off escape routes and provide you WITH escape routes. That's their purpose and they do it well. Their damage is just gravy.
