Pretty much title. Cheaper, smoother defensive item that also allows you to spam more spells to clear waves when you're getting pushed and harassed? Hell yes thank you. 100 less Ap in the endgame build and no way to sustain if you want to jungle? ...why?

Riot clearly doesn't want Hourglass to be in the state it was last season and I would rather have this new version than the current one. Because atm, I never get Zhonyas. It feels horrible to build, takes forever and the active is one additional mechanical skill that you can fuck up.
I feel like people don't appreciate CDR yet. How many times have I seen my mid laner have 0%-20% CDR at full build. It makes me sad, honestly.
Now that we will get it on more than just the mana sustain items, it will be a great time to play league.
Photos of Ghosts1 votesIt may "feel" horrible to build, but it's core for everyone including AP supports. Simply because it's the only piece of survivability against the overwhelming amounts of AD you can get these days, AND a major AP item.
Sum Wun Speshal1 votesI didn't build it once this season outside of ARAM. I feel sorry for champions that have to get it like Fizz. Hourglass is only core for them.
A Syndra, Orianna, Ziggs is pretty much going to suicide with Hourglass if it is used without having the Zed mark on you. Rylais exists, so do Liandry and Rod of Ages. I would have to have 9 items slot or something to finally consider Hourglass at some point.
AP Supports? Except maybe Morgana? Come on, bro. Wtf is a Brand sup gonna do with Hourglass?
