It was 52.98% last patch according to Champion.gg. Which is why there was a lot of "Why are they buffing Jinx on PBE" posts on here.

they might know their champion. but very rarely do they have an accurate gasp of balance and other shit. they don't know how to farm properly, they don't know how to pressure the map properly, they don't know how to creep trade, they don't know how to manage waves, they don't know how to respect enemy jungler, etc.
That's why. When a low elo argues balance, if they provide no information(facts or evidence to back up their claim), given by the majority of them sucking in terms of game knowledge. Its a pretty good idea they are talking out of their ass.
As in the guy above "omg, you guys mean the shitty useless R buff". So, no explanation why its a bad buff. No evidence to show its a bad buff (actually, the contrary, her win rate went up). No facts for why its a bad buff. Combined with low elo ==> people will use that against you.
Actually, even if you are diamond. If you say the above. I'll still call you a boosted bronze player for making an obvious false statement (often called, spreading miss information)

That's a flawed argument. A champ with a high win rate and high play rate means you won't always be able to pick them and you'll have to play against them. Meaning if they're far superior as a champion to your champion in lane, you will be at an extreme disadvantage. We are not talking counters, we're talking champion balance as a whole. Most champions who are above 54% with a good play rate have very few champions that counter them or have a positive win rate against them. It is silly to say "OH JUST PLAY THEM" when there is only one of the champion.
Hence why Riot balances the game. Hence this forum. Hence this post.

It's a shame you can't watch replays of games, the only reason she had 8 kills was because of Lucian. I believe 3 of my kills were on Jinx, one of which was a 1v1 where I outplayed the shit out of her. So yeah, I'll enjoy stomping Jinx :)
You could also check the my Blitz game 2 games before that, where the enemy Jinx went 3/8.
I never said I would win EVERY game vs. a Jinx, I'm just saying it isn't difficult. ;)

We're talking about Ranked play, against people who somewhat know how to play the game and the champ they are playing. But I'm sure if Plat+ players have a 46% win rate against her, she must be easy to beat. Go play against a competent Jinx and tell me how it goes. You occasionally beating up some 1st time Jinx players hardly qualifies as stomping the champion.

Similarly to Sona, because Jinx's kit is so simple, she will only have a 50% win rate (even on new Jinx players) when she's numerically weak.

All the other patch notes explained reasons why a champ probably needed buffs, or nerfs.
Jinx notes basically read like this to me:
Jinx snowballs, we wanted her to snowball harder so we could make her flavor of the month and get people to spend RP on her, enjoy till nerfed.
Jinx seemed to be fine to me, maybe overshadowed by the reliability of other marksman, but not weak enough to get a fairly large and seemingly pointless buff on her ultimate. Seriously, no reason why she needed this, just said they wanted her to "kill? OK KILL MOAR!" in the notes. WTF is this?

the thing is the ult isn't just an execute. its a nuke. if you hit a tank. your probably gonna get more than one kill. and it still does decent damage against high health targets. especially with that buff. makes no sense really.
