If Yasuo is going to have the e damage removed, his crit reduction needs to be lowered on his q

King of Mongoose··0 votes·794 views

right now his q have 25% crit reduction which means that late game it does less than an auto attack

yasuo's e deals a significant amount of his early game damage in dueling and that can't be removed without compensation in other areas

something like his e having a much lower cooldown and lockout time or having higher range would help, but really yasuo's passive crit reduction needs to be lowered to 5% or removed entirely for him to still be viable. his q could have the 10% crit reduction

Except that Yasuo's autoattacks can't hit multiple people at a time.

Yasuo auto attacks don't have .66 attspd

why should Q do more than autoattack?

Since they are reducing the damage by 25% at best they should reduce the mana cost by 25% as well. I see no problem here. He's healing too much off that thing anyways, its annoying for someone with a shield like his to be healing so easily. I'd prefer if they just gave his autoattacks more base damage

there's no mana cost ???

King of Mongoose1 votes

q should do more cus it's a spell xd

it should do at least the same amount of damage

CerealBoxOfDoom1 votes

why?

Then if reduced mana costs aren't good enough for you it's range should at least be reduced if it needs more damage. Why does yasuo need to be able to autoattack from 3 times his normal AA range? It even applies onhit and hits multiple opponents.

Why does this need to be as strong as a normal autoattack just because its an ability lol

King of Mongoose1 votes

because he has no other damaging abilities

also only procs on hit effect on first target hit

maybe we can keep crit reduction at 25% but lets have all targets proc on hit effects

CerealBoxOfDoom1 votes

that makes his sustain even more frustrating, no.

It doesn't matter if he has no other damaging abiltiies, he's designed to be a melee-adc. He is autoattack reliant. Honestly the only reason he needs any damage on his any of his abilities is just for thematic reasons outside of his ult.

Also another thing is that his damage is designed to fall off late but games are ending a lot faster now.

yi is a melee adc but he primarily uses q for damage

same with tryndamere and his e

yasuo needs his q for the damage

neither one of those abilities is terribly strong. Trynd's E doesn't even scale off AD

Yi's Q is mostly used to dodge things and to be mobile outside of when he's ulting. In fact, yi often loses damage by using his Q against single targets

Or delete yasuo

you play OP illaoi how can you even propose deleting yasuo LOL

I literally have no idea what you are talking about

His q procs onhit which means it procs lifestea though only on the first target

Its hard enough for some champs to fairly engage yasuo but then with his range buff from Q, which has attack speed scaling on its cooldowns, it just gets even worse

His base hp is lower than normal but he gets a shield which is fine. You have to work to get rid of his shield and hp bar, again this is fine. But then the new warlords bloodlust mastery he gets up to 20% lifesteal for free on an ability with 475 range with AS scaling so he can also autoattack and finish his animations more quickly to gain more hp and pretty much just ignore a lot of your damage and even if you can keep engaging him he has a wall to block attacks, multiple dashes to dodge them and then on top of all that he can probably just kill you once he gets an item anyways even with low hp if he can get his shield up which requires 0 interaction with the enemy.

Yes, reduce his mana costs. Yasuo burns way too much mana right now.

I'm not great at math, hell I need to use a calculator for basic math in D&D, but I'm pretty sure this is wrong.

Be definition his Crits are amping his auto attack damage, so they can't do less. Plus Infinity Edge is usually built on him by then, so that is also taken into account.

King of Mongoose1 votes

no because once you get enough ad and crit with infinity edge, the 25% reduction will make the q do less than the auto attack which only has 10% reduction because the q only has 110dmg base

Ralanr1 votes

Oh you were talking about his Q alone.

I though the crit reduction was for his autos as well?

King of Mongoose1 votes

it's for both but the q crit is reduced by an additional 15%

Kanlar1 votes

Yasuo naturally has 10% dmg reduction when he crits and amplifies to 25% when he uses q. If yasuo has 200 total ad, his crit aa would do 360 dmg and his q would be doing 400(400 *.75+100). However when yasuo has around 350 total ad his aa now does 630 dmg and his q does 625 instead.

Hyperiön1 votes

No, yasuo is a toxic champ, his mobility and dmg is ridiculous.

King of Mongoose1 votes

YOU MAIN MALZAHAR HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT YASUO IS TOXIC LOL

Hyperiön1 votes

Because people like having Malz on their team. No one wants Yasuo. He comes with bad luck

Hyperiön1 votes

And I only played about 15 games with new malz. Most of the wins/losses were before his rework.
