Nidalee's nerf wasn't necessary

Before you downvote this into oblivion, please read everything. Nidalee is very similar to Lee Sin. They have access to an execute at level 1, and they both have a ton of FREE mobility in their kits. They also have a lot of sustain built into their kits, allowing them to jungle or stay in lane a long time. But they don't scale particularly well into late game. Like Lee Sin, Nidalee falls off pretty hard late game compared to other assassins. IMO, Nidalee's biggest strength his her early game. As stated earlier, her late game is absolute garbage, so she truly needs her early game power in order to do well. As annoying as she is, Nidalee was in a pretty healthy spot before her nerf. Maybe a few slaps on the wrist were necessary (mana cost increasing, etc), but her damage was fine.

Nidalee doesn't fall off late game rofl. Reason people hate her is because she has literally 0 risk. 0. You can do whatever you want, spam Q and sustain, jump on people with a zero mana kass ult and bite someone who has 50% health and kill them, or you can just fucking run like a bitch.

Lee sin's completely reliant on ganking and snowballing, later on he has almost no damage and only has his ult to make a play. Nidalee just chucks spears over and over and over again it's a fucking joke. She's extremely versatile, not only limited to being an assassin. Don't compare the two, only thing they have similar is how they can fit many roles, but nidalee does not fall off.

The champ's design is never healthy. A lot of people would be happy if she was flat out deleted.

I honestly don't know what to say if you think Kassadin's ult and Nidalee's W are comparable.

And you also say not to compare Lee Sin and Nidalee, but you do that just sentences prior.

Nidalee /does/ fall off late game. The enemy team buys magic resist and Locket and now your spears don't do nearly as much, and that's if you land them. It's pretty much always the players fault if he's constantly getting hit with a spear.

I dont think you compared the two of them very well.

Lee

-Skillshot-based gapcloser -Gapcloser only on allied units -Very small shield (Can be applied to an allied champion) -Attack speed boost after using an ability for two hits -Lifesteal/healing per hit after using an ability after his shield -Knockback that can knock up champions hit -2 abilities that reveal stealth -Uses energy -AOE clear abilities -Deals AD damage

Nidalee -Attack speed boost (Can be applied to an ally) -Large heal (Can be applied to an ally) -Long range nuke skillshots that are sometimes invisible. Also reveal whoever gets hit(I know its a bug but it has been around forever) -Movement speed boost when walking through a bush -Traps that reveal whoever steps on them. Reveals shroud when placed -Free jumps that are able to go over walls and do damage -Free longrange jump to a marked target -Execute -Can jump after the long range jump -AOE clear -Deals AD damage -Deals AP Damage

  • Lee has 4 skills to work with, not 6
  • Lee doesn't have a high damage/low CD/long ranged spell that was able to do more damage than a Lux Ultimate
  • Lee doesn't have a spell that is basically translated to free unlimited wards (Nidalee traps)
  • Lee's ability to jump over walls is limited by a higher cooldown and the need for a target to jump to.
  • Lee doesn't have 2 types of damage
  • Lee doesn't have a heal that's more powerful than Sona's
  • Lee doesn't run faster in a brush
  • Lee has a higher skill requirement
  • Lee falls off late game

Sorry, no Screw Nidalee

So what you're basically saying is that Lee Sin is balanced, or at the very least more balanced than Nidalee? Hmm...I wonder how many other champions Lee Sin is more balanced than.

Quite a few actually. I can make a list for you Ekko Leblanc Kalista Poppy (oh boy if you have ever seen a late game/fed Poppy) Riven Jinx. That's actually quite a few. And that's only the ones that I can say are strong (this isn't based on toxicity, otherwise the list would be much bigger)

Now some of them are mostly due to just a kit that is just way too powerful put together. I feel that Jinx is only broken because her rockets can AoE crit. Poppy is broken due to the monster she becomes if she gets gold. Ekko is broken because of yet another over loaded kit. Riven is broken solely because of animation canceling combined with no costs and high ratios. Le Blanc's upfront damage is too high and her late game isn't as bad as people try and make it out to be combined with her high mobility. Kalista solely because of the infinite stacking rend and its ridiculous damage on top of her kiting passive (which is fine by itself).

No, I'm just saying your comparison doesn't make sense, and most people here agree.

I'm also saying screw Nidalee

Do you even know what an execute is? Last I checked, Nidalee and Lee sin are the only junglers that have one in their kits at level 1.

And because of that you think the champions' kits are comparable as a whole.

Please.

TBH I don't have a problem with Nidalee. But shes one of those champions that if one of your teammates sucks ass and if she is there to exploit it...She ends up becoming a really powerful champion that even if I dodge spears her cougar form normally will rape me and I will feel utterly useless. Her spears tbh weren't even a problem in her kit. Its really just bad players eating fiber and a no mana bar tied to short cooldowns in cougar form with her also Normal form kiting.

I'm sorry but the spear nerf was totally necessary. It was the poster child of overpowered abilities. It was basically an ultimate that could be used every 5 seconds and would take 60% of a carries health in just one hit at max range.

90% of the time she is the jungler and can throw them from the fog of war, so your chance to dodge them is much lower. When she was a laner, you could see her throw it and have time to react, so it wasn't seen as overpowered. That's why the nerf happened.

Spear on 6 sec cd that chunks is soooo healthy.....

I can miss for days and hit one and is ok. Her CD shoudl be around the 18sec at lvl 1 to around 12sec at max level. not 6 sec....
