I'm confused why marksmen are able to deal tons of damage with their abilities. Realistically their abilities should be there for some form of cc, trading potential, and possibly an escape or a damage/attack speed buff. Marksmen not relying on auto-attacks seems kind of backwards to their design. I just want to make sure we're all on the same page, and recognize that casters are winning bottom lane by a land slide.
Kaioko1 votesCaster laners will always be stronger early and fall of late when people are able to survive their burst damage. The real reason why they're currently stronger is because very few games go into the over 35 - 40 minute range where consistent damage adcs start really shining.
disregardable1 votesThat's like saying that Poke Mages are weird. "Their abilities do so much damage! They shouldn't be able to use them every 2 or 3 seconds".
It's just one sub-class of champions. If all Marksmen relied on their Auto attacks, we'd only need 2 of them. Vayne and Jinx. People hated that, remember? We need different types of Marksmen to be viable for the game to not be boring.
