Ap supports have zekes and ardent censor while tank supports have nothing really. Also there's is not a ad melee type support champion. Thresh and leona and taric all scale with ap. Maybe a life syphon that shares healing and regen? I miss zekes Herald
Ravenhale2 votesDisregarding the gold item, tank supports can usually build the same things a top lane tank would build. As a tank support, I'm more likely to build Frozen Heart instead of Randuin's Omen. I'm more likely to build Righteous Glory than Dead Man's Plate. In many cases I would build Locket, though other items like Ohmwrecker and Zzrot Portal are both decent alternatives.
