Don't blame it on items. It is the change to Grievous Wounds where it no longer halves outside healing, only self. Meaning that the entire thing her kit was balanced around was removed. So yes she will probably get her heal nerfed because she does her job way too well with 0 counter play.

Yes but she has no hard CC and mediocre damage. Healing is the only thing she has going for her.
AoE silence/root. And her healing was increased with her buffs and the speed went way up and mana cost went down. She also has self healing that can also slow. Her damage is really good if you are skilled enough and her healing is also really good. She has no other weakness other than being squishy.
