Rammus: Possible Tweaks

So, Rammus has a few conflicting interests right now.

His E improves his attack speed, but his only movement ability doesn't allow attacking. This should be offset by the ult slow, but the slow is so negligible until fully stacked that most people walk away anyway.

Then his W improves his armour much more than it used to, IF YOU BUY RESISTS. This contradicts the need for more attack speed as the extra damage from the passive isn't really enough to warrant the attack speed as a self-buff without investing in actual damage.

Along with the attack speed, you have the slow on the W, which means if he uses it to extend the attack speed buff, people will just walk away anyway. This means the only reliable extension of the the buff outside of the jungle is his ultimate.

So, a few tweak ideas:

Rammus stays in fights for a while. So maybe let his passive stack a few times. This might mean lowering the initial damage, but it would allow him to actually deal meaningful damage once he has been in combat for a while. It would also give a lot more value to the attack speed buff as it would let him stack faster.

Allow Rammus' ult debuff to **Ground **enemies within it. This would make it easier for him to either catch up to people or defend allies. A moving Grounding area is interesting and a lot more reliable if the enemy can't get him off his target.

As for the W slow, why not make it reactive to taking damage? While W is active, if Rammus is hit he receives a slow that deteriorates over 2 seconds, stacking up to a 60% slow. This means if you let Rammus W without attacking him he has the full benefit of a buffed up passive, but if someone is attacking him they can lock him down as he turtles up. Ranged attacks could have half the effect on the slow.
