I have a super crazy idea for reworking Vladimir, it's a whole scale rework.

He is a hemo mancer. but I thought, "What if he actually tried to suck the enemies blood and control it?"

In this iteration, he is a melee champ with some ranged abilities, and doesn't rely so much on spellvamp.

New Passive: Blood Pact: Vladimir has a blood resource bar, filling up as he takes in the blood of his enemies, capping at 100. Vladimir gains increased health regen while the resource bar is filling, upon reaching the full bar, Vlad's next basic ability will heal him for 10+(10xlevel) and deal 2-10% of his max health as bonus damage on his next ability. Vlad gains 1 point for minion kill, 5 for large monster kills, and 10 for champion kills.

New Q: Blood Manipulation(Costs a flat amount of health): Vladimir targets a unit(friend or foe), marking them for 3 seconds, if Vladimir hits that enemy with his next basic ability, it deals 20% increased damage and gives him 5 points of blood. If Vladimir targets an ally or himself, he/they gain rapid regeneration and movespeed for 3 seconds, after the 3 seconds, their body overloads from the stress and lose 50% health regen for 5 seconds, and 15% movespeed.

New W: Sanguine Pool(Costs 20% of current health if it activates, 10% is refunded if he doesn't get attacked): Vladimir marks himself for 1 second, causing the next basic attack or spell cast on him to deal 50% damage and he turns into a blood pool and becomes invulnerable. Vladimir teleports behind the enemy who attacked him, but not to enemies past 650 range, meaning he can't teleport behind a Caitlyn. For enemies past 650 range, Vladimir simply becomes invulnerable for 1 second, unable to move.

New E: Blood Draw/Blood Transfusion(Costs 10-50 health for draw, 10% current health for Transfusion): Vladimir targets either an enemy or an ally. Enemy: Vladimir rips blood out of target enemy, draining blood giving him 5 points of blood and healing him based on his missing health(5-20%, not sure on numbers). If Vladimir targets his ally, he heals them for 10% of his current health. Range on the ability is 300-400.

New R: Life Drain(200 range): Vladimir grabs an enemy and supresses both himself and enemy for 2.5 seconds. While suppressed, Vladimir rips out the life essence of the enemy and drains it for himself, dealing 30/40/50% of the enemies max health as magic damage, and healing him for half of the damage dealt. Vladimir gains 25 points of blood from Life Drain but if Vladimir kills an enemy with Life Drain, he gains 100 points of blood.

Thoughts? I just thought of this on the way back home and just thought of these abilities. While he would still heal for ridiculous amounts, it's more gated on the fact that his E heals him for less when he's full, and more when he's weaker, though I'm not sure on how that could work, this was just an idea.

The combo with his W into R was inspired by stick figure spotlight when Demacia fought Noxus. Jarvan impaled Vlad but then Vlad pooled behind Jarvan and basically did this "Life Drain".

Feedback is appreciated.

Feels like you've removed a lot of iconic aspects of Vlad, not to mention he's still point and click so it doesn't fix that problem. I like the idea for the passive, but removing Sanguine Pool at the very least feels kind of unneccessary if you're looking to rework him. Keep trying

What makes him iconic?

His W, definitely, is what he's well known for. You really didn't have to change this. He's also one of the League's far simpler characters, but this rework goes in a couple of directions to make him super complicated. His Q and E have double functionalities, so you basically have a Leblanc Q/Nunu W for his Q and an old Vlad Q/Soraka W for his E, which is somewhat confusing and frustrating when you, say, target an enemy instead of an ally in the middle of a teamfight. And while you made him more complicated by giving him more mechanics, his gameplay still suffers from the same point-and-click issues. His only good combo is Q-E-R, and hopefully you get a kill with it so you can survive the resulting teamfight. His survivability and life steal have all been tuned down by this rework, removing some of the spammable drains and invincibility that makes Vlad Vlad. TL;DR Go back and look at present Vlad's problems. Then find a way to address those problems with small changes before launching into a full rework.
