Preseason 8: Rather than massive game changes I would like to see massive staff changes

We already had 2 seasons with this design team. Season 6 was bad and when I thought things couldn't get worse just look back at season 7. In all honesty how is it possible that the game is still in the same terrible state like 4 months ago when I uninstalled? How can the balance and leading design team be so incompetent that in a timespan of 4 months they are not able to fix any of the problems? Worlds is literally been played on one of the worst patches this season. What kind of sign is that to the public and players. The only conclusion I can draw is that the staff is completey incomepetent to handle this game and again its not just because 1 or 2 bad patches. We are talking about 2 seasons now.

You can't have the same bunch of incompetent gamedesigners keep muddling through and expect different results in the long run. Its been 2 years already the game has witnessed a huge decline in quality and fun. Reworks, item changes, class updates all failures. I really loved and enjoyed this game and from time to time I check the boards in hope for some good news to re-install this game but honestly I have ZERO confidence in the capablities of the current lead designers like Ghostcrawler. I don't see season 8 become much better than 6 or 7.

And just an example but I have been saying this for a long time. Repertoir is completely incompetent. We have seen this with Malzahar, Rengar, Ryze 2x, Quinn and a bunch of other reworks he did. With Janna he outdid himself with an unpredecent amount of hotfixes. When is enough enough?

I think you are being very judgmental. This is coming from me to since I always harp on the Development team about not working on Karma for years. There are several issues and I do think there a lot of them that they will ever fix. I've been playing since season 2 and I can tell you they are doing a lot better, but at the expense of a large group of players feeling like they don't care.

  1. Class updates was a terrible idea. I wish they had never even considered doing them. Every one, besides the mage one which I think was a complete waste of time, has resulted in the meta being shifted entirely to one class in the game. ADC were annoying, tanks are now annoying, and Assassins was probably the only successful one on paper, but we had problems with lethality for months because of it and look at Rengar and LeBlanc. Waste of time.

  2. They work on content for the sake of working on and not what actually needs to be addressed. Really. What did you accomplish with working on Brand, Annie, Vel'Koz and Veiger . . . to have them be in the same spot they were in and not improve upon them? Like why don't you work on a champion that really needs it and not one for the sake of no reason.

  3. The game changes way too much during the entire season to allow anyone to adapt. Was plants really necessary? That's a waste of time and resources. The changes to runes is necessary. The changes to dragons was necessary. The changes Rift herald wasn't necessary but a good idea. Adding dumb plants into the game that does absolutely nothing was a waste of time and not as fun as you think.

  4. Too many champions. This is the number one thing they need to fix and stop doing. The Developers NEED TO STOP CREATING CHAMPIONS AND WORK ON EXISTING CHAMPIONS THAT NEED UPDATES AND VGU. Seriously. 130 plus champions in the game and they are now prioritizing reworks and VGU on new champions over a champion that has been out since the beginning of the game. Stop adding more champions to the game that is increasing your work load and work on what needs to actually be worked on . . . and then go back.

I just think they don't listen and like to work on a lot of unnecessary things that don't really need to be. Plants was a waste of time. Working on the runes is a good use of time. They need to stop creating champions and do more VGU a year. I really hope this new format they are doing with patches is going to work out because I do not see a lot of people being able to support this game if they continue down the same old road of not listening and working on useless content.
