There are no nerfs on the horizon, not even news of one.

Conqueror is beyond settled in. The nerfs affected other champs far more than her. A """high skill floor""" champ with a """high skill cap""" should not be sitting at 56% winrates for 3 fucking patches. This is beyond inexcusable, especially considering she has a 15% playrate toplane. For those of you who don't have any idea the asinine nature of that statement, I'll spell it out:

#Toplane has the largest roster in the game currently and still even finds champions from mid to migrate there as well every so often. Meaning Riven has to beat out far more champions than any other role and still has the highest playrate top.

Nerf this fucking cancer ridden champion already. There is literally no excuse anymore besides "We're going to remove Spear of Shojin and see how that affects her". That is the literal only excusable reason.

I still find it funny that Riot instanerfs Yorick but leaves Riven in this state.

I don't see how keeping Essence Flare was even an idea.

I said it before and i'll say it again. If a champion, when spammed enough starts to eliminate conventional bruiser weaknesses once you master it, it's a bad design.

Maybe it is because some people feeds her? They do not understand her passive so they just go for fight and feed and feed? Riven also has highest counter champ rate you can literally counter her with more than half of the top laners. I mean if you pick temo in her thats your problem

Wish they would've hit Riven and Rek'sai in the hotfix too rather than just Neeko : X

Riven with conq and spear makes playing against her a living hell. Normally she gets her 40% cdr and she can chase you or run without fear of getting caught or the enemy champ getting away (Unless they're lucky) but with spear she is much more annoying to deal with because her cooldowns get even more down then before. I'd say if they want to give her nerfs they could do 2 things also wanted to say its late and Im just speculating I dont know number I just have ideas.

Nerf her shield by making it not able to scale with her AD either make it a flat shield or make it so she has to build more health in order to get benefit off of it.
Nerf her cooldowns. For someone who has basically 4 dashes they should be much higher in terms of cd. They could have it so she has much higher cooldowns early while she gets them to the usual level late game if they dont want to hurt Rivens precious 56% winrate but in all truth cooldown nerfs wouldnt be bad.

You just keep searching in noname sites with filters that gives you the highest numbers so you can post your daily "nerf riven" thread. Riven's current winrate is below 52% plat+. Nice try.

Buff top lane tanks. Heavy armor CC tanks countered Riven back in the day when even Taric could be brought top to deal with her. Now, you might argue that tanks do not counter Riven, and in the current meta that may be true because non-support tanks are weak overall. It's important to keep in mind that counter matchups depend on how strong the individual champions and classes are. If a champion or class is severely underpowered, it can't hold its own to counter hardly anything. Back when solo lane tanks were viable, Riven wasn't often able to kill them in laning so she couldn't snowball out of control and then she would be CCed by her tank rival when she tried to join the fray in teamfights.

The answer is so simple. Stand at the point of customer/us, it is a game for us to play, we care the balance because we are the players. But stand at the point of Riot, it is business, it is a popular product that sells skins chromas among the consumer, so they care how much the profit will be depending on how popular a champion is. (Especially bunch of them are just kids are playing this game, they want cool stuffs, powerful character, enjoy slaughtering.) It applies to the most of the popular champions, Yasuo, Vayne, etc cancerous champions yet received a single hammer nerf.

Let me take an example of recent Yorick nerf, yes it was needed because of how op heal(Q when minion hp below 50%),and how strong 3 little minions he summon +ignite in early game. But the time taken to nerf him was almost so fast when discover the issue.

Do you see how fair/unfair to us, the playerbase? What do you expect from Riot to nerf cash grabbing products? The top of the Riot management is Tencent, their boss. Even if some Riots do feel those champions are overpowered, they couldn't do anything, they couldn't speak up, because of how China has so big base of audiences and players that blindly pops money into this game for flashy skins.

We pay moneys to Riot, and Riot use the money and rewards the most best players in seasonal tournaments. What matters? we players that supports the game wholeheartedly? no, it is the pro players that take attentions from the world are way more important because they attract more customers more profit.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how someone can actually lose their job at a game development studio for anything short of selling out to Activision/EA or being accused of being a misogynist.

Lets wait and see how the nerf to Conqueror affects her since those statistics are from last patch in which Conqueror was too strong and the winrate of its users skyrocket because of this.

If you want to complain more meanwhile, go ahead. Riot games already stated that they consider it a western phenomenon, so no nerfs coming yet. If she maintains this WR+PR at the end of this patch, then she may need some nerfs. BTW, avoiding being oneshotted by her is as easy as build Ninja Tabis.
