Zed falls off late-game

That's why nerfing his splitpushing is actually okay since his late-game is comparatively awful. No good Zed teamfights since he's got such a bad late-game aside from dueling somebody who didn't counterbuild him.

That's why every team in the LCS who picked Zed and got owned in laning ended up winning with him late game anyway.

I dunno, I wouldn't consider split-pushing being part of a teamfight in the LCS games I've seen.

zed has to screw up super hard to get himself killed in lane against any ap mid laner, lb is the only one who stands a chance against zed.

every other mid laner ooms before they widdle zeds health away into kill potential range, at which point we cant do anything anymore because we have no mana. "auto him?" (sure ok ill take a full minion wave damage) "just cs, its not hard" (pushed the wave because hes playing passive ganked, zed first blood!

outside of this any ap midlaner needs a gank to stand a chance at killing zed pre 6. at which point zed will shadow clone away anyway. (lets give it a .75s delay, fair? ok, done, "balanced")

its extremley easy for zed to 1v1 someone when neither champ has items(before first back) or were at codex +dorans vs brutalizer OR cutlass stage of the game. when both champs have their first item they're both going to wave clear and wait for a slipup of their opponent.

Although Zed is extremely good at accumulating advantages with his farming and lane power, he is actually one of the worst assassins late-game since he doesn't just instantly pop somebody and usually needs to commit for several seconds unless his opponent has done zero counterbuilding.

He is an extremely good duelist since he's allowed to commit for the full 3 seconds of Death Mark, but he is not a good teamfighter since he isn't allowed to commit that long. Simply put, he has the most counterplay of any assassin in a teamfight even if he has near the least in a duel where he is equal or ahead.
