The other version was far superior.

They've been back tracking ever since the rework moving more power away from his voidlings and passive, but more importantly he wasn't handicapped by having to rely on his voidlings to farm. The reworked voidlings being arguably one of the most mishandled mechanics in the game.

That doesn't make the old iteration superior actually imo it made him far inferior. Being able to just E the wave is uninteractive and unhealthy. Home requiring his voidlings to push is a necessity. He was much less healthy before the rework and yes imo he still is not fun to play or play against but the only thing that was good about him before his rework was the meme ad jungle build.

Requiring his voidlings to push is fine, the problem is that farming is impossible without his voidlings and they completely stripped his kill potential without using his voidlings. Nor was his AD jungle build just a meme, it was probably one of the most viable secondary builds in the game. Then again I know that riot don't give a flying fuck about their player base and will gleefully remove secondary builds off of champions to force conformity and homogenization in the game.

It was a meme because he sucked at jungling. He was a free invade and had no gank potential until 6. I'm not saying it was garbage but it was a meme. He shouldn't have kill potential with E and R that is legit unhealthy.

I'm not talking about kill potential with his E and R, i'm talking about any kill potential at all in his whole kit.

Also, yes, please invade me at my red, there were many dead lee sins who made the same mistake. And he has gank potential with his ranged silence denying flashes. Which is easily more healthy ganking than the current assassin insta-gib design of ganking.
