How will Placements be? I don't get them...

I understand, with the placements being fully solo-q, they wan't to make sure everyone get's their needed rank, but what if in my situation, I don't do too bad? What if I go 10-0 in my placements, but get into a rank lower than what I deserve? Not everyone did Dynamic Q...

Just use op.gg to find out your mmr. And after every match you oplay in placements check op.gg and you should know what you get or an estimate of your skill level/mmr

Placements are a joke to begin with, do you really think it's possible to get an accurate picture of where someone should be placed based on 10 games? Worst case scenario you waste some time climbing (or falling) to your proper rank.

Basically take the rank you finished S6 with and subtract one full tier (ex. G3 falls to S3). That'll be what you place at, regardless of if you go 10-0, 0-10 or anything in between.

You will be placed lower than where you ended this season. This is a guarantee and a fact. However, placements don't really carry too much weight anymore. If you play well, you won't be put too much lower than last season (this year I went 7-3 in placements and got bronze 1, where last ear i went 3-7 and got silver 5, and I improved significantly between when I did placements for season 5 and even more between season 6 and now). Wherever you get placed, if you're truly better than that, you should be able to climb out. If you can't, you can always make a second account and do placements on that and use that as a ranked account. The placements for that one will have your MMR set to the flat 1200 and it has no previous data to go off of, so it's easier to use that account to get a jumpstart in the season. Your starting MMR for the season will be 1200 + your current MMR / 2. So, you can pretty much figure out about where you'll be placed by looking at your MMR and looking at your current rank. Also, between now and when the next season starts, you can also keep climbing for season 6. While the ranked rewards are closed already, getting to a higher rank/MMR will make you able to get placed higher up next year compared to where you would right now.

I'm not too sure why a lot of the player-base believe that winning or losing their placement games has a factor on where you are placed.

You could go 0-10 in your placement games and be placed in low plat.

It runs off of how you personally play, taking into account your CS at certain times, your neutral objective control and towers, Vision and ward coverage, how much profanity you use, how well you rotate, even down to your flat out KDA in your role.

This is why most people have an issue when they win all 10 of their placement games and they get Bronze.

Because going 22/0/0 with no towers, no objective control, 50 cs and placing zero wards in a team based game means you are out for yourself and have no business at a higher level where team-play and synergy is a must.
