I'm wondering if ping has any massive or major effects on the ability for a player to execute their champion to their best ability, or if learning these champions is heavily affected by any lag. e.g. Quick soldier spawning (as Azir) when you harass. Champion reaction times with Azir's Q which actually has shorter range that it seems etc.
Uh, not really. I mean..from 20ms to 60ms (Damn you Rito for moving the server)...it was a slight adjustment but not too noticeable. There's like a quarter to a half second delay when I use Ahri's Ult. That's about it.
35ms before the move, 75ms after. I had one time in recent memory that I clearly died to increased ping: I play on a mechanical keyboard, so when I press a key, I know I've pressed it. I wanted to Flash over someone's skillshot, I predicted their skillshot, and I clearly felt and heard my keyboard engage the Flash key at the exact right moment. My Flash never went off and I died.
Besides that one instance, though, I haven't had any real issues with ping destroying my play. I play a lot of ADC now, and sometimes it feels like my autos cancel even though I feel that I'm orbwalking perfectly, but maybe that's just user error and not ping.
32-35 maining braum I think (I play any champs since last year). I had some lag spikes but its due to my internet provider most of the time. But I do ahve noticed small freezes or just my character not doing anything if I click too fast between 2 decisions like you get a high spike but there was no lag spikes. Seems like since patch 5.22 the server connection sometimes is very hard or all the information isnt transmited very well
Generally around 41ms, and I main Xerath (probably most affected by ping changes out of the champions I have)
