What are they here for? What's the purpose of them? Really, I don't understand. They don't do anything except make it extremely hard to rank up. I won 4 games in a row today so I could get in promotions just so I could lose 2 and have to win 4 in a row again.

It's even worse when you get to 90~LP and then have to win that + 2 other games. Technically win 3 games instead of 2.
HaIlMonitor1 votesSame reason a team in the NFL has to play in the super bowl if they have a perfect win record for the rest of the season. I understand why people hate them but if you are good enough to have a positive W/L in your bracket you should be able to with 2 of 3 or 3 of 5 matches.
LegacyDAP1 votesWhen you win multiple games in a row, and then lose 2 you don't get promoted. Superbowl and League are 2 different things. It's not like you win a championship. It's the 2 best teams in the U.S. who compete to win the hardest game of the year.
HaIlMonitor1 votesRegardless if you think that it is way different or not there needs to be something in place to show you DESERVE to move up. If you win 7 matches then lose 2 in a row for promos you have a 86% win rate at that time. Usually when I get from promos I only need one win anyways so I would have to win 3 of the 4 next games. I personally think people just choke when it comes down to winning something that actually matters.

HaIlMonitor1 votesPromotions are just normal ranked matches but it if you lose you just stay the same rank you were what an hour before? I am wondering what you would rather have? Where it just looks at your win loss rate or something and bases you off of that? Or I mean we could have the warcraft 3 system where you would have the current bronze5's in matches with challenger plays so it is actually based on luck. And to you question yes I do understand I have 4 team mates that can change the outcome but I also dont feel like I am perfect so I cant really blame them for having a bad game.
Lynxonyx1 votesI have won a single promo this season, out of 10+. I went on a losing streak after that 1 promo and got demoted anyhow. yay!
I'd love to see promos done away with.
