We Want Alistar Skill Shot Headbutt!

Apparently the Alistar Headbutt change was unintentional and wont be going out. But the change was awesome and I think it needs to stay to be on Ali's kit!

Players will slightly miss on purpose for the sake of an easier combo, then you basically have a Malphite ult with an uber low cooldown and little skill required.
It makes Alistar a part of this "mobility creep" problem people have been having with the game.
It would make his headbutt body blockable.

You're referring to his combo, yes? Something we can already do with Ali for that exact same effect.
He can already dash with it as is, and yes, he can use it on minions to escape, not a huge creep, if you think about it.
Oh no, counterplay? On a basic skill at that? Terrible idea.

I'm gonna ignore your snark.

Alistar's combo is powerful because it's difficult to land. You might as well suggest making Ezreal's abilities targeted.
He can only use it in certain situations, that's a clear and intentional weakness
literally all one would have to do to counter Alistar then is stand in front of who he wants to hit. You'd be removing his ability to headbutt anything but the front line.

Okay, make it a little weaker, that's numbers, the easiest thing to tune.
It makes him have more position choices as well, probably a good thing.
Again, counterplay on a basic skill, oh noes. (seriously though, his dash speed is pretty high [1800, I think,] as long as he isn't dashing through wherever the potential blocker already is, it's unlike they would get there in time. (save Braum, but that actually makes thematic sense.) Honestly, make him stop and knockback the first champ he comes in contact with and it is a pretty viable skill.

i think a skill shot would kill the w q combo its just that many people dont know how to do or wont practice and ill admit its hard but i kind of like being able to pick any champ in range and q him out of the battle makes it easier to w the guy right next to the adc out of the fight and then q the adc into the air

Alistar's headbutt also affects minions, so it looks pretty useless when there's a lot of minions around in a teamfight, or you accidentally headbutt the enemy tank instead of the ADC into your team.

It knocks back ALL minions, and stops at the first champion hit. If the champions are close enough together, they were all knocked back as well, similar to tristana's R (ultimate)

When Alistar was first released, his W was a skillshot. I really prefer to have it targeted to be honest.

WQ'ing it as a skillshot is extremely difficult and landing Ws in general is a nightmare.

If they made it a skillshot, then on enemy champion hit, pulverize auto goes off for the combo. Thatd work for me.

I'm on the fence about this, one one hand it makes his kit less clunky and gives him an escape and the ability to hit the combo in the fog of war, but it also makes his headbutt AOE, which could give him a bit more disengage and than Riot intended, chances are he would need to be re balanced elsewhere to make up for the extra utility. I'm all for a skill shot headbutt in theory but I'm concerned about the trade off.
