Bot Lane Morde is basically unplayable now.

And not even because it's particularly bad. He still does fine in lane if your support is aggressive like they're supposed to be and the easy access to ghost dragons can easily snowball the game out of control before your opponents can really abuse Morde Bot's flaws. I honestly still win a lot of games with it, more than I do on most adcs.

No, the reason that Bot Lane Morde is basically unplayable now is because I pretty much get trolled a solid 25% of the time I pick it because someone on my team thinks Morde bot is complete garbage and refuses to try. Even if he's still viable there (which I'm convinced he is), the community as a whole has overwhelmingly concluded that it's terrible and they very often play like it's terrible, which is a huge handicap for a champion as aggressive and snowball reliant as Morde is. Let me tell you, winning games is a lot harder when your team has no trust in your pick, hangs you out to dry, and then uses your poor performance as evidence that your champion is bad.

And frankly, I don't know that the solution is. You can't really just buff him again or else we're right back to where we were before. And his playstyle bot lane just isn't interesting enough for most players for him to see play unless he's blatantly overpowered.
