There is absolutely NO reason you should be picking lucian. Seriously. He is nerfed to the ground. Has no bullying power and you get outscaled by a normal crit build adc with two items.
Also his range is hideous. It's just a extreme liability by now.

Got flamed hard by my team for "losing the game in champ select". I know her kit is problematic and she needs a Azir scale rework. But I hope Riot really hurries to do that.... not fun playing Kalista (love her design, especially with Bloodmoon skin), if you get flamed hard just for picking her in normals.
saltran1 votesNot the same imo: Kalista even when she was strong in Pro Play (last time at least) she had a garbage winrate and pickrate while every time Lucian is strong he reachs absurdly high pickrate/winrate on SoloQ because every ape can dash forward aa Q aa and kill the enemy adc.
FraCro2 votesPlay more normals whit him,Go PTA + Celerity and Gathering storm.Start Dorian Blade.Look for lvl 2~3 All in,When u go all in W+Q+E (for reposition,don't E in hes face tho,AND FOR GOT SAKE USE AA ALL THE TIME U CAST SPELL) Move don't stand in one place AA'ing them.Try to get B.F. on first back if not then go for 2 long swords.Rush IE or ER,After geting IE or ER go for Statick then finish IE OR ER.As 4th. item look what comp they have.DON'T solo push,u are ADC not top/mid lucian.Stay whit team,Farm,Farm,Farm and in late game whit this build 
u can out duel every one whit if u are realy into lucian.
He is not weak,not easy kill too.Hes early game is strong af against immobile ADC like 
tho whit kai and kog care,they can do surprisingly shiet ton of dmg if u miss play.
Hes is GOOD pick ATM,maybe not meta,but if u like champs that can kite for days and can burst whit basic combos like W+Q+R+E+Q AND is Mobile then go and practice him.
Have fun 'cuz hes fun AF at least for me.

DW Diana1 votesI'd hate to see her reworked actually. Same for lucian. Their kits are so unique I'd hate to see them changed, and I dont even play adc (auto-filled I will go as ashe though xD). I just feel that while every other adc has been busted these two were nerfed too badly. It's a question of balance, and we all know how well the balancing team is doing these days. Kalista was always meant to be better in early mid game, but she can't do anything. Lucian I've always known as a feast or famine champ, but would like to see him more early focused tbh.
Anyway, don't worry to badly about either of them. riot are doing work on adc's in 8.10 which will mean new skins and therefore buffs for any adc that is due to get a new one; Kalista and Lucian :)
