Getting 700-850 gold from 1 kill is pretty ridiculous
There is basically now more gold in the game than before even after the first tower gold nerf

Its less gold than before, but it all goes to 1 champ.
well to be fair if it is up to 700-850 gold, Assists still get a pooled 100-150 gold :S, because that's like a 10 kill bounty
I mean, before it was like 350 global gold + kill gold or something like that.
Before you got assist gold as long as people were either :
At a 0 Death Balance and had killed someone
or
Had farmed minions to bring their value back up (think like you gain 1 tier up back up to 0 per 10 minions)
Anything 1 kill - 10 kill all offered bounties, and the top amount was 450 awarded to the killer, 300 distributed to teammates who helped.
So a lot more people became viable from team fighting. Now... if it's a circus..... and teams keep flipping 1 kill for 1 death..... no one but the best carry gets ANY gold from team fighting, so it's really better to just farm.
I honestly think the bounty system needs removal from SR. It essentially punishes players for doing well by making a mistake cost them more. I mean if I'm on a massive killing spree, I should be allowed to maximize on it without a risk like that.
But also allows players to come back into the game if they can secure the kill.
It has both its ups and downs.

So it rewards a bad player
If they're so bad why are they killing an enemy champion who is significantly far ahead?

If your teammate is also ahead and they die, they gave the enemy another 950 or whatever. Now that fed opponent can now add another t2 item just for that one kill. The horror...
So it rewards a bad player
Moreso helps people who:
Got outplayed a couple times Got ganked Made a mistake a couple times
It means if they are behind they have a chance to get back in the game and just not auto lose. This may not completely fix this but is a step in the right direction for a change.
In the past it was like "if you are losing lane, play defensively till you get an opportunity to get back in the game.
Now its like "if you lose lane you are just useless, try to piggyback on your most fed teammate and get carried, if the rest of your team isn't feeding".
No, just because a player gets behind doesn't mean they are bad.

That would make snowballing even worse and give no reward for people taking down those people in the first place, how is anyone supposed to come back if the player that has potentially the most gold from doing everything right can't be reached even when stopped?
If you're on a massive killing spree then you should already be aware of how valuable you are to your team, you being erased by itself is a risk for your team because most of their kills is most likely on you. And this doesn't equate to being enough of a reward for a player dying, you're not even giving an alternate solution to the cost like a higher death timer or etc, you're straight up saying there shouldn't be any penalty for another person(s) taking you down in a position you probably shouldn't have been in, in the first place.
TL;DR/Summary: Bottom line is No risk:All Reward games are boring to play. People that get ahead will stay ahead and it will be more of a stomp than before. If people mess up there should be a penalty which allows players to show off the strengths of their champions late game or etc. It's not fair if 5 players made 1 mistake, giving a single player 5 kills because they are roaming and whatever, then they play the game perfectly after, yet killing said player doesn't do anything but take him off the field?...
But this is fine. If you get ahead you should be able to take risks to get further ahead without being brutally punished. I can kill my lane opponent 3 times, get ganked and lose that entire advantage to one gank. It's unbelievable how punishing it is to be good at the game lol.
It's a lot, but I think I like it that way. It's too early to tell, but it makes comebacks more likely and has the potential to diminish the impact of early snowballing.
It doesn't make combacks more likely because it doesn't itemize a team. It itemizes the one person whose already doing well. It enables smurfing, and is a huge part of why funnelling is happening. Just give two sources of gold to your jungler (say Yi), get him ahead 3000 gold and 2-3 levels by not laning..... and then he gets to collect all the bounties, all the kills, all the CS and 1v5 the other team.
It's why when you look at damage charts one person is 40k damage and everyone else is 8-18k.

The problem with that was solo carry became a problem which is why they changed it.
The new system enables solo carry far more than the old.
I just went 20/2/7 and 15/8/15 Pyke..... simply by destroying the other team myself.
(The second game was super troll: I was jung. Top brought smite and Support trolled
, so I told Aatrox to go Top; I'd Support, and Rengar could jung. Instead after I bought support item Aatrox still went support and Rengar still went top..... so I had to wait for 350g to go back to Jungle item.
Took quite awhile to stabilize the game.
By the time we got to late game we were up like 39/24 and I was monstrous. But..... my team suddenly began 1 after one feeding in their base. They tried that whole "Take the nexus through the enemies by suicide strategy" that works oh so well.... I had to kill off
just so that the 3 that were left were
so that I could pull around Garen and keep him out of the friggin way.
So that got messy)
The 20/2/7...... I haven't felt that kind of solo carry in ..... years. Not because of the score. But because I was literally 1v3ing with a champ whose not supposed to do that. I stopped and killed a 3 man mid push all by myself vs 3 champs......one of them being Nami....
Late game I literally 1v8'd. I killed Nami, which led to another kill, which led to another.... every 18 seconds or so I killed someone. By the time 4 were dead, the first ones I killed were ressing. So I killed them again.....
I can only remember one game where I made a team feel so hopeless. And that was Season 4.
Also.... in that game..... one of my deaths was worth 900g to
. You think that's slow gold gain/snowballs? Most one person got before.... was like 550g.
I'm seeing a lot of 20k gold players on 10k gold teams, btw.
Had a 1050g kill. lol
I dont know the TRUE Reason, nor do I agree.
but I remember hearing they added like that so that one player can carry the game if he is good. [sg-janna]
That person has to be on a 10 killstreak to get that high.
They are trying to make gold funnelling unreliable.
