Grasp has a win rate of 50.56%... And this is a top lane tank meta where darius shines the most. Yeah, grasp darius sure is killing out the competition entirely huh...

Meanwhile Courage darius at a little under 54% and while we're at it nerfing courage we're going to nerf darius too! That any rational human being can look at the statistics and be OK with this is beyond me.

Grasp darius is where darius's true strength has been for literally an entire year, a near 50% perfectly balanced win rate... It's courage, not darius. Don't nerf darius, just wait.

darius isnt a tank for 1....

and 50.56% on grasp would be consider balanced.

the issue is people tend to try to fight darius in lane with out having a clear advantage and think they are gonna out damage him. not the case...

play a champ that out scales him... ignore him early.. dont fight... farm... and if he dont get kills in lane he is worthless and kiteable in team fights

I know darius isn't a tank. It's a tank meta where he shines because he counters tanks.

650,000+ darius mastery main I know he's a juggernaut buddy, I was there and have been there ever since. I added a final sentence to clarify the purpose of this thread. There is little to no logical reason to actually directly nerf darius when what's breaking darius (courage) is already getting nerfed.

Maokai is one of the few tanks that can at least go even if played safe enough. If you actually beat a darius, you're either a great maokai or he was just a very mediocre darius.

darius dont have that great of a win rate its ok but nothing super

AND MAOKAI /DARIUS IS A SKILL match up.... darius has a win rate of 50.87% win rate vs maokai

while over all maokai has a 51.45% win rate for 16th out of 55

and unless darius goes stupid agressive early with flash and ignite and blows everything to kill mao at lvl 3 mao slowly out scales him and out waves clears him...

mao can avoid him and just disengage anytime darius wants to go ham

The nerf isnt going to kill darius lol if your a darius mains your pretty much hitting your blade on them like everytime arent you? why would you even try to hit the handle dmg for one. 2 he loses 10 ad from his passive. early it still goes to 200 ad late game. levels 1-3 its 30 its not like they took away his passive completely.

his level 3 powerspike loses 15 AD, that's a huge nerf to his harder matchups like jayce and riven and renekton where the enemy tries to force mini all ins before backing off. It's going to make those matchups unbearable, jayce in particular.

i feel the thing that is the worst about facing a darius is the fact that he gets a heal on his Q along with the passive, the armor shred, and the grab with slow, auto attack reset and his true damage on ult...

im fine with him having his damage but dont let him have damage and heal from it too through a passive on an ability
