Camp bot will always be the meta

I played a string of about 30 matches over the past few days (it's spring break) and I lost a good ~70% of them. All of them I tried playing a lane kingdom playstyle. I'd focus on getting to a point where I was strong, I'd generally out-cs my opponent, get towers, rotate with bot lane, match my opponent's roams when there wasn't some huge disparity like him having ult and I just used mine. I was playing incredibly safe, with 4+ KDAs and multiple plates and generating a gold lead in my lane a good 80% of the time. Keep in mind I wasn't just sacrificing bot lane left and right but I never prioritized them. I prioritized myself.

And if you looked at my op.gg I was ranked as the MVP or Ace (best player on the losing team) over half the time. 30% winrate.

So after that, I played 2-3 games where I completely switched my style. I didn't really try to lane that much and I spent most of the game planning how and when I was going to show up in bot lane. All three of them were stomps.

Fact of the matter is camp bot lane will never go away. It is significantly more gold than any other lane, so the rewards are more ludicrous. I might've lost 150 gold off minions in the mid on a stupidly timed roam but I picked up 900 gold for the team in kills/assists because bot lanes rarely play the game properly. That doesn't even account for plates. Another thing that people really never talk about is the fact that botlaners have some of the most fragile mental states I've ever seen. If they get camped, game's over. They've given up so the game is lost because they don't care to play properly. ADC gets a lot of flak for being toxic (especially Draven players), but what people don't talk about is how absolutely passive aggressive a lot of support players are. It's just an unhappy lane all around.

Also, while writing this I played a League game. Pinged out AND typed to communicate an obvious 4v2 in the bot lane was coming and my bot lane still got caught and died before I could arrive. However, because I did end up showing up Eve and I snowballed off that and won. Literally just sit bot lane and you'll collect wins.

Sadly that's a fact

Doesn't matter if adc role is weak or strong Bot lane has 2 players , as a Mid laner or a Jungler , Roaming Bot Lane is always a better option than helping top lane 2 players = 2 kills 2 kills = more gold advantage + XP And it also means 2 enemies are prevetned from xp and gold for some time And it also means one extra player will help you to take the tower

Like , I play Ahri a lot , I'd rather use my Ultimate to help bot lane than Top lane

At anyway right now it's a meta where adc is a strong role again, so it's just better to win bot lane

I mean if you can push out an enemy botlane, and yours can stay/get more xp, 2 level 6's is a significant step up over 2 5's. Level 6 is a huge game changer a lot of the time, and when you can have 2 of them it snowballs even harder, especially if you're running an ap burst support or a lockdown support with an aggressive adc ult as well

marksmen are such a fundamentally broken role in league and I have no idea how we chose to go BACK to this rather than figuring out how to fix the decade long problem of them being the single biggest factor in every game

Kills need to be worth less. That will fix the game

It's twice as effective as camping another lane
