A Change to Varus

IMO Varus passive just feels that doesn't fit and seems old and weak.

P - Living Vengeance When Varus kills a unit he gains a stack of Vengeance for 8 seconds (he gains 10% attack speed, this stacks up to 3 times and refreshes on basic attacks and killing a unit) When he kills a Champion he gains a stack of Revenge for 8 seconds (he gains 30% attack speed, this stacks up to 2 times and refreshes on basic attacks, hitting abilites and killing a champion) Revenge and Vengeance stack

W - Corruption PASSIVE: Varus's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and apply Blight for 6 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. BONUS MAGIC DAMAGE: 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 (+ 25% AP) This increases by 50% per stack of Revenge

Varus's other abilities consume Blight on enemies upon damaging them, dealing them magic damage for each stack, capped at 360 against monsters. When Varus consumes Blight he summoner 6s and gain movement speed based on how many stacks were consumed (3/3.5/4/4.5/5% per stack) for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds MAGIC DAMAGE PER STACK: 2 / 2.75 / 3.5 / 4.25 / 5% (+ 2% per 100 AP) of target's max. health

Don't buff Varus please.

He is fine the way he is. I agree he is a weak ADC if you try to rely on autoattacks however he is in a perfect spot if you play him as a poke caster.

As a poke caster does he fall off very hard? unless you are talking about AP Varus?

I am not talking about AP Varus, more about what people consider the midlane Varus build. The fact it's considered midlane doesn't mean it won't work in botlane but you will get to your lvl 9 max Q slower.

You frequently built Essence Reaver on varus which is very meh since as Varus you DON'T want to stand there and autoattack. You want to be in the backline shooting out 1k dmg Qs every 5 seconds making the enemies scared to engage. Obviously, this works well if you are against a team of squishies (you outrange EVERYONE) but is less effective against say a Malphite who can instantly ult and gapclose.

You then force the enemies into a choice: stand there, take poke and have to B and give up turrets, farm and gold or try and engage on you. If they engage on you you need to ult to root them in place, hope your tanks stop them for a few seconds while you explode max stacks of your W that your ult gives with yet more Qs and Es.

To play like that you need 1:

Base AD (to scale your Q) Flat Armor penetration (not % bonus armour pen, so no last whisper, you dont want to hit tanks anyway) A large mana pool

Build this:

Manamune > Youmuus > CDR Boots and then Maw, Deaths Dance, GA or whatever else you need in that game

Ill try this, but isn't the whole point of Varus to pop his % health stacks? that build kinda negates that part of his kit (minus his Ult cause that stacks his W) and its kinda dependent on META even bronze there is at least 2 tanks and they stand right in-front.

I see what you are getting at, you don't want to damage his caster build to buff his AD carry.
