It's pretty damn hard to wallstun with Poppy in mid, at least compared to other lanes.

Also who told you Riven fucks every assassin by default? That would be Zed - his upfront burst is faster and he gets to either dodge your damage with R or teleport away after his upfront burst while his ult finishes you, leaving you unable to retaliate.

Add an Edge of Night in there and there's probably nothing you can do. Then again having an Edge of your own probably hurts his ult'ing you as well.

Having one tank into a squishy team of no tanks does give a good advantage.
