Out of curiosity, why does kayle's intervention prevent hemorrhage stacking?

I always wondered why kayle ult stopped stacking. Reading the ult description, it would make sense to block damage but not block stacking as the ult reads that it only blocks damage from all sources.

Conversely, when pantheon blocks an auto from darius, the stack is still applied.

And that's a mistake.

The stack shouldn't be applied if the attack was blocked... they made a whole patch to make this consistent with everything remotely similar.

looks like we have another case of riot spaghetti code

I assume this is because invulnerability protects against all damage including damages from abilities.

Panth's passive only blocks basic attacks but if you're a champ who has an ability tacked on to the basic attack (Darius 's passive), the damage should still be done from that ability

I just assumed invulnerability was using the same code as dodging for AA's.

There is a difference between immunity and other forms of defenses.

I'd also add that "logically" a divine shield around you obviously doesn't let attacks through which by definition doesn't make them able to make you bleed.

only blocks damage from all sources.

Darius' passive stacks are also a damage source and hence, are blocked by her ult.
