Can i “un-hover” my pick intent please

Ill admit its very rare, but occasionally ill accidentally hover a champion and my team may think im going to pick them because of it. Most games I don’t know who I plan on picking until ive seen some enemy/ally picks so it’s not like I can just hover a different champion. There’s really no reason to not implement this.

just type "not playing x champion"

There’s still no reason to not implement it.

I mean, idk how much it would take to add None as a permanent selection in champ select. None could also open a easier way to dodge in champ select instead of having to close client or wait the whole champ select duration.

Maybe they could make it when you click on the Champion you hovered, it un-hovers it. It doesn't seem hard to implement - then again, I'm not a programmer, so I don't know how to do it myself. [sg-soraka]

Not hard at all. Just a few extra lines of code. But they are lazy

You can change your hover after the ban phase, you know.

When you're not hover and ban phase, the champ roster isn't gone. It's just "minimised". You can bring it back and re-hover a champ you want.

There should be a "^" button right under where the champ roster would be after it's been minimised after ban phase. Click it to bring the champ roster back, and you can re-hover the champ you want.

Or you can just type in the chat to inform others about the situation. Should only take 3 seconds.

I addressed the first three lines in my post and the forth in another comment.

Adapting to enemy picks is normal. Just because you haven't chosen your champion yet doesn't mean you shouldn't hover ANY champion. Hover a champion you probably will play or might play, then change later. Use hovering to state your preference.

Feels good to see someone else with that problem. But it's so minor that Riot prob won't do shit about it :/

How I do it is after Ban phase ends, ban your pick quickly, click that little "up" arrow right above the tab with the sum spells and runes, and all the champions will show up once again. You are free to unhover and hover random champions after that, so really you can change your hover pick right after banning.

This isn't the ban phase i'm talking about either. This is after you ban your champion. The list of champs will disappear, then you can manually re=open it to show all the champs once again and then you are free to hover all you want.
