Is there a matchmaking factor that throws you against higher mmr if you win too often?

I could go on a 4 win streak or 6 or something...then the next 8 games I'll lose.

Is there a 'oh, you're a smurf' matchmaking at someone? Makes it all the harder to climb in low elo.

It's not over-confidence/overextending, it's not me losing lane, my team just never capitalizes on anything. Amumu or Yi or whoever constantly ganking me at top? Let's not go for dragon or gank other lanes. Me as Wukong dumpstering whoever toplane? Doesn't matter cause Morgana at bot is getting shit on by an Elise support (even with her shield apparently) and a non-tanky Yi is starting to snowball cause he got a cleanup triple kill WITHOUT his ult. How? I have no idea. I venture mid/bot just to salvage my shitty team and then GP takes my top turret in literally one wave of creeps. Yay. :/

Or is it not the matchmaking at all and it's just unlucky teams? Cause really, my team plays like derps in the following games I lose after a win streak.

Can that be changed? It shouldn't 'greatly' increase your mmr if you're >500 wins in. By now the system probably should know you're not smurfing.

Riot feels that people should win as often as they lose(And vice versa). So when you go on a winstreak they go "Well hey, how about...a CHALLENGE?" And then you start weeping openly.

But that's the thing. It's not that they throw a challenge, it's that it effectively becomes a 1v9 which is just ridiculous matchmaking. Aka, my teammates are suddenly full retard instead of 'average' that I can still win with. I still dump on my lanes in winstreaks, but lord, my team gets 1v4'd by an underfed Yi and other stupid shit like that unless I'm there.

As an example...A Morg support lost to an Elise support (yes, Elise support). Her shield negates her stun as well as a portion of her damage...I don't understand. This means I get to worry about the super bursty and gold-filled Elise support later in the game as well as the Lucian freely getting assist gold and CS, AS WELL as the, let's say, Yi jungler, while Morg is only really useless as a snare bot and can't really eat any poke/damage without just..dying unless she wastes her shield on herself. So, for some reason, Cait is actually a threat because she actually got fed against a Lucian and Lucian is a hindrance because he keeps getting caught out. Taking away mid and top from the equation, that's a 1v3 right there. Me vs incompetence, a fed Elise/fed Cait. Adding mid gives them a mildly fed Kata and a burst damage GP from top.

^tl;dr, the point I was making is matching me with retarded teammates does nothing to challenge me, it just wastes time until I hit my next winstreak which would have my teammates at least 'average'. Matching me against S1s in their promos to G5 going maximum tryhard is just ridiculous in this state.
