I found out that my burst aoe output and pressure significantly drop and while seemingly good on paper, placing three balls around you is really unpractical compared to the quick and effective maxed QE combo.

I think you're completely right. After playing a few games with W max after the new patch I can say that the increased CD on E is not worth the tradeoff for maxing W.

I always maxed E. Was this ever a question? W sucks. It's so lackluster. W + E combo doesnt even work. clunky as hell
