What made Jhin so bad?

Just honesly wondering, he was okay for the majority of his release and even popular several patches, but he feels so god damn weak right now, which is strange to me, because I dont think he got any direct nerfs.

He didn't get any direct nerfs it was more to the point that champs that could utilize Borc were just extremely strong and those champs typically were strong against Jhin. Twitch, and Lucian made very good use of Borc, and Caitlyn was just absurdly strong in the meta, so strong that she just overpowered Jhin, so when 2 champs that can beat Jhin and an absurdly strong lane bully like Caitlyn are the top picks, then Jhin just sorta becomes weaker. After the recent borc nerfs and the caitlyn nerf i think we can expect him to become a bit stronger in the coming weeks.

or maybe not, as the meta still leans to the tankier side and Jhin isn't that great of a tank buster

I mean. Hes not terrible at it by any means. Once he gets his Last whisper variant, wether its LDR or MR he does a good amount of damage. Especially with the 4th shits missing health damage bonus

When your dealing with an enemy comp that's tank heavy, Try using BT. Works well for me, thou if enemy team has Twitch or Lucian your gonna get wrecked when you fight them solo. Currently sitting at 8.0 / 5.7 / 9.2 6 wins 4 losses with Jhin. My biggest problem with playing jhin is that I will 100% of games played end up with this parody track stuck in my dam head. I don't think he is all that bad. Probably biggest problems with him are that he still has solid skill cap, the ghost blade and lethality changes dropped him outta fotm so a bunch of players bailed on him. Throw in the fact that Lucian, thresh, draven and twich not his friends in lane with his Fav supports not quite meta and what is does not benefit him greatly (he does not work great with lulu, not a bad option just so many other adcs get more from her as their support.) The Botrk AS has been kinda key for dealing with all the tanks out there, not a great option for a 4 shot reload. All in all meta shifted, I think hes still good but he needs a bit more consideration from his teammates and the comp to thrive which is less unlikely save for premade.

Pretty much the most accurate answer is this right here.
