Why is it that the ONLY thing singed players do is proxy?

Hi I'm Singed. I'm not gonna teamfight, roam, or do anything to help my team. I'm just gonna proxy all game, and probably feed my @ss off while doing so. People need to learn to do more than just proxy all game when they play Singed. So annoying having a 4 v 5 when you have Singed on your team.

Well, it's what he's best at. If you wanted to have something else happen, you'd need a different champion.

Because that is what new Singed players try to practise most seeing they lack the experience to lane or gank with him.
He's quite an awkward champ and by no means strong/OP so to do those things you need experience on the champ. More so than with many others. Yet, he is kinda in flavor right now due to various youtubers pointing him out. So he gets played more by non-mains.

Singed Mains do all those things when they are needed.

Also, side-lane pressure is important. And if noone else is managing waves, who better than Singed to do that?

He's meant to make the enemy team focus his ass,so if he has the attention of the enemy team on him then he's doing a good job lol

A good proxy singed is game changing and even if he ends 0/11/3 can single handily win the game by making people chase him down while the team gets free towers and dragons thanks to the pressure vanishing from lanes

I've seen Singed players single handedly turn games in their teams favor by proxying and split pushing.

I recall one game where the enemy team had their ADC AFK early on, and the only reason they were able to hold on as well as they did is they had a Singed Support who went about proxying with his ADC gone. It effectively made the rest of the map a 3v3 as our jungler and Support kept trying to chase him off and kill him.

You don't pick Singed to team fight, you pick him to be a nuisance and play the map.

I know that, but sometimes your team really needs you in fights. He tanks a lot of damage, and flipping someone into his team is insanely useful.

Yea he can split push really well, but sometimes you need to do more than just split push to win games. Like if the enemy team is at a major objective like Baron or drag, we could really use his help, even if he doesn't do a ton of damage.

And if Singed can grab 2 towers and possibly an inhib in return for the Baron or Dragon and then come back and either hold off the Baron push or splitpush again and thus reduce the effectiveness of said Baron since someone will have to stay behind and stop him, then it's worth, no?

Can confirm this. I was Yasuo in one game and our friendly Singed proxy'ed in the enemy team's base for around 2-3 mins in the late. Even if the enemy team was able to ace my team, they couldn't push because our Singed was able to kill all the minions so the enemy team didn't get anything out of that. I was able to hard carry the game btw because Yasuo mechanics and that our friendly Singed was able to perfectly stall out the enemy team.

The reason him just dieing to the enemy isn't exactly a bad thing is because if he's just proxying waves and starving the tower so it breaks down faster, he won't have any kills thus no shut down value. So basically when ever you see a Singed forcing resources top that's the time to make your move. Such as grabbing objectives like Dragon, or shoving lane if you can to try and pick up a kill or a tower.

So what you're saying is you should be able to remake if you have a Singed on your team?

You are not a buddy nor a friend. You're just a guy.

why do singed players do this? because it actually tilts the enemy top laner and jungler off the face of the earth.

You aren't gonna have a 4v5 at any point if you have a Singed pressuring top because the enemy team is gonna have to dedicate at least 1 person to defending toplane. Normally when I'm top with Singed I'll get in situations where 3 and 4 enemies are running top after me; in every way, that is giving my team an advantage by drawing the enemies away from mid & bot and leaving objectives open.

The enemy, against the odds, choose to go 5 mid? A) Don't fight them 4v5 (duh) unless it's to protect an objective IE. they dive B) Look top and watch your singed taking towers/ inhibs while 5 enemy waste their time mid.

If they're ignoring him, they can say goodbye to all of their towers.

Well singed is one of those really old themed champions that had a weird strength nobody else has. Riot is trying to kill that concept but he's left in the past for now.

The day will come when they remake him, but he's not as bad as some other champions (like yorick or ww were.)
