Is it just me or is Bard a potato

Some people really good with him I mean they already kinda mastered and know what they are doing but most of the bard players either troll or so bad with him which makes me sometimes think that Bard is a shit tier champ.

Even with the good Bard players I'm like "damn I wish this was another support"

Not the mention all the times he leaves you out to dry while he "roams". Why did they encourage such a toxic playstyle?

I've actually seen some REALLY good Bard supports, like godly. They place their heal thingies at the perfect spots, they never roam too far from you, when they see you in danger they either use their E to get to you and then instantaneously stun both enemies with their Q or if they're already next to you they'll place an E teleport thingy for you to run away and then stun the enemies so that they can run as well, etcetera... Honestly I don't think Bard himself is THAT bad, but the issue is that he takes a TON of skill to master, and not many people are that good with him. Not only is his kit a little challenging to use, the whole idea of "Roaming support" is just in general a difficult concept to fully master.
