Back when I started league, we didn't have to worry about baron until 35 minutes in because baron was stronger as well as damage wasn't absurd back then. Nowadays if you show 2 people botlane or have 1 dead and 1 botlane, you know that the enemy will rush baron in 12- seconds and then you will be forced to play very defensive for 4 minutes and after that, you will be playing from behind.

Eedat1 votesBack when I started league you could easily take Baron at 20 if the enemy team let you lol. Dont know what you're going on about. 3-4 people at 20 minutes have always been able to take Baron. Even 2 people have been able to do it depending on the champs and how fed they are

It probably took at least 20-30 seconds to do it which is ample time for a team to go back, shop, then go to stop them. Now it's. much faster due to the damage creep. Yesterday I had a game where we were near our base entrance at mid, then we saw the enemy team starting baron with a ward, but they took it in 5 seconds so we couldn't stop them.

20 minute barons aren't really new, its a matter of when people decide to take, which usually was people in the fear of "baron throws more games then wins" however over the years that's not the case as people wised up when is and isn't a good time to do it.
