I miss Zephyr

It was such a great item. Well balanced, too. It was a reasonable way of giving the champs that needed tenacity access to other boot options.

We dislike Zephyr's gameplay pattern when it works or becomes standard. Fast, unkite-able characters that also have tremendously high sustained damage heralds the days of Olaf / Irelia syndrome - which is a gameplay pattern that we've generally found impossible to support when strong. -RiotXypherous

It just feels unfair seeing so many champions keeping their free mobility while others are left to bite the dust because they can't get it from items anymore.

it was a great item. efficient. not overpowered. and greately useful. there isn't a substitute for it unfortunately.

Simple maths, Olaf has 100% tenacity when ulted, extra 35% tenacity from Zephyr mean nothing, since 100% is maxed. Irelia has innate 10/25/40% tenacity, since tenacity multiply, she only get like additional 15% tenacity from it > less worth. So the presence of a tenacity item is beneficial to those without tenacity in kit And Riot's excuse is dumb

riot didnt say that irelia and olaf benefit from that item the most, they say that most champions can become like olaf and irelia with zephyr.

ofcourse thats still utter bullshit and zephyr was great, even tho rarely used. its GOOD if we have rarely used items...

Well everyone said the same thing about SOTD, til everyone didn't bother to buy it after it returns & complains on Boards about Mundo.

No one cares about SotD... It was only there for cheese burst builds on ADCs.

I want a new Zephyr without AS, only with Flat MS and AD

It was one of my favorite items on YI even if the tenacity was mostly wasted.
