Dumb "balance" decision

Nice of you to gut a mid mage sitting at 48% winrate for no good reason other than to water her down because "pros" use her. I'm sure it was convenient for you to forget that the pros make up an tiny portion of your player base.

And your excuse that she was good at waveclear is absolutely piss poor. That was just part of her kit. You don't hear anyone saying Jinx should be watered down because she's good at doing ranged auto damage. Nor do you hear anyone saying Chogath should be watered down because he has lots of health and CC. It's part of their kit and you coming in and homogenizing a champion arbitrarily, while calling it "balance," does not constitute genuine work for your balance team.

Yes, because everyone is just screaming for Cho'gath and Jinx and Taliyah to be nerfed. Never mind the fact that the game has other far bigger problems.

Are you kidding me about Cho’Gath? There’s at least 1 thread every two days or so.

Jinx? Every time she’s been in the meta, people call for nerfs, because she’s a strong hypercarry with AoE attacks.

When Taliyah was meta, there has also been plenty of calls for nerfs to her, as her waveclear was just too good, and you couldn’t hope to beat her to a roam unless you also had a global/near global ult.

When she was meta. That was quite a while ago. And no, there really haven't been "plenty of calls" to nerf her. As is consistent with a character currently placed at 23rd most picked in mid lane. The first, naturally, being TF. The character who can outroam and out waveclear taliyah who was conveniently ignored for nerfs.
