Do you think there needs to be a limit in champs nowadays?

Ok, first don't get me wrong. I do like it when new champs are implemented into the game, if either there's a great idea or ability that can be put into the game. However, after playing the game for quite some time now and seeing so many new champs put into League, from Braum to now Xayah and Rakan, I really have to ask: do we need any more champions. or at least slow down with how many we put into League now?

We have over 100+ champs in League right now (136 total), but many of them are pretty outdated or they're down right gutted from their former glory and are in desperate need of a proper rework (not this mini-rework/class update bullshit). Urgot and Eve are currently being reworked, but as news from Riot says Urgot won't be released until the next new champ comes out, so how long is it going to take for Riot to get around to reworking all the champs that need one if they continue with their way of new champ, rework, new champ, rework, new champ, new champ, rework?

My second issue with this, going back to the 100+ champs, is that if we are going to continue having new champs we need more bans for them, which Riot is already taking their sweet ass time implementing 10 bans to live servers. Right now I'm sick of seeing Lee Sin and Yasuo with what feels like every game I play, simply because there aren't enough bans to get them with. Another issue is that when we get more champs, we are bound to get more cancerous champs similar Yasuo or whoever is toxic to play against right now and sooner or later we'll want more bans, which will more than likely force Riot to either increase the ban phase, which they don't want to do, or add in the extra bans but make the time shorter to do so.

Like I said, I do love having new champs being put into the game, and it's more than likely the thing that helps Riot continue to make a profit outside of eSports, but honestly, with how often they're coming out and how many champs we have in the game right now, I'd be willing to set aside wanting new champs for quite some time, hell even a year for me, or just limit how many we get now. Cause at this point, I'd rather have Riot get around to just getting most of the reworks that are in need done and out of the way and I'm fairly satisfied with the champs we got in League now.

I saw a comment recently from a Rioter on here talking about how they may start looking at slowing down the new champion process and putting more time into reworks. So Riot may be looking to change their way of reworks and new champions someday.

They have limited how many are released. 6 a year roughly the last couple of years, as opposed to the flood it used to be.
