Annie is basically freelo

It doesn't matter how much you suck at LOL. As long as you can consistently click on the right target at the right time you should be going 2/1/2 half the time. Coming from an Annie main, I have been barraged with "0 skill champ" to "you can only play her because you can't play anyone else." in several games I didn't defend. No I am not calling for a nerf because there are other broken champs as well and nerfing one means another champion becomes the new "op." So, here's my message to all the players frustrated with their games, try Annie.

Annie is far from freelo. That's the common problem with people playing this game. Even if a champion is strong, you still need to know how to play the game to climb.

And Annie isn't even that great.

In all my games playing Annie, I think there was only 1 or 2 where I didn't have more kills than deaths and assists. This is coming from me, a player that was garbage at the game before I started to play her.

You have 100 games with just and are in Bronze 4. You are actually the living example of why freelo doesn't exist. You can get kills with Annie just fine, I've seen people with tons of kills with Riven in Bronze. The fact remains, champions do not give you freelo unless you have some understanding in the game. Now, if you climbed to Gold within the next couple weeks with her, maybe she is freelo. But no one else plays her for a reason.

If Annie is actually braindead and freelo like you made her to be, why don't you get out of bronze with her?

Bad MMR, I have to win 2 games for every loss in order to climb right now. Alright that's a bit of an exaggeration, but still.

Then the changes were just recently, I'm expected to climb out of silver given another week.

Xerath snipes Annie from half way across the map with 1103 AP

Xerath requires a bit of skill to be played to maximum potential. What I suggested was how bad a player could be and still do good using Annie.

She might be freelo in bronze, but it's harder to get any kills with her without flash or hiding in a bush and camping in higher elos since her range is so short. Champs like Syndra are way more easier than Annie - she doesn't even need to pull off a full rotation of spells to kill somebody because she just needs to press R to kill somebody when she hits 6.

Yes, knowledgeable players will know when to back away from her, but unless she's focused in team fights her ult is going off on players.

As for syndra, yeah what was said is true.

Knowledgeable players i.e. everybody above bronze. Annie is so easy to counter with anything if you have magic resist and health. You could even counter her with Fiddlesticks or Volibear.

You can still build void staff and sorcerer's shoes, however.

You're still going to run out of mana before you can kill anybody with MR&HP or die before your CDs reset though...

If I was playing Volibear mid against Annie, I would already have item 3800 item 3065 item 3102 item 3111

after getting fed off the Annie

I'd just blitz her with RG and eat her everytime I saw her.

Why not both, lol.

because being easy automatically makes you strong since your champion can be manipulated at maximum potential. but since the champion is easy the solution to beating that champion is also almost always just as easy.

I guess that makes sense...

Annie has her strengths and weaknessess and is far from OP. if anything she is in a good spot right now. However I do agree in that she is a good starter champion for new players learning to play this game. She is an easy champions to pick up, but hard to master.
