Bounties are waaaay too high

The max bounty is 1000 gold. That's a ton of gold. And I think that's achieved only by 5 kills (pls correct if I'm wrong). 5 kills is not hard to get in low elo. I like the idea, but I don't think this is the right way to raise the chances of comebacks.

I think they're nice when I can reap a bounty, but they're just a tease. I have seen blowouts where a team has almost 4k bounties locked in, nobody is dying and dropping bounty gold, and the game is over with a score like 14 to 50. The bounties are less of a comeback mechanic and more accurately a badge of dominance. Watching winners run around 2 tapping losers is not a fun environment to try to comeback in. (I say winners and losers because the game is decided at that point)

Even if they are a badge of dominance, Riot designed them to make comebacks more achievable... Idk.

If they really want to enable comebacks, then unlock the cap, so the 18-0 kayne would drop the 3500 gold he is worth with 1 death.

I think an unlocked bounty cap would be good. I'm sure they could balance bounty variable around this new mechanic.

An example of how they could buff comebacks would be to spread the wealth of any Bounty above a thousand gold, giving 1,000 gold to the Killer and dividing what's left among the team. It would incentive team play and also Force the man with the bounty to play Under Pressure. This way we can uncap the bounty.
