So Riot are you going to Fix the game for 2019 or?

Is the game going to stay trash? When you going to admit rune rework was done poorly and the damage creep completely ruined the game? Never? Next season? 2020?

I assume never or way too late for this game to actually recover from your mistakes.

God what I would do to even go back to season 7. As much as I disliked last season I would play it again in a heart beat before rune reforge.

#notmyleague.

They like changing things for the sake of changing things. You need to understand that Riot is a cashgrab company. The changes to runes were so new players would start and spend money on skins and what not. They figured that the older players probably spent what they wanted already, so they threw them to the side like an unwanted playing card. Who cares if you're pissing people off when there's profit to be had?

There needs to be a balance though. When you piss off too many people where players quit playing then you going to not gain the profit you want. I don't know the numbers as Riot keeps everything pretty private but I would bet their NA profits start declining or have been last couple of seasons. I think they probably still doing really well in China, Korea, etc. though so probably a huge net positive. Unfortunate for me I suppose as I hate what they have done to the game, but at same time now I am not wasting money on League and spending a lot less time playing it so that is a positive I suppose.

I am proud to say that I have not given them a dime in two years. The main reason being is that I honestly think that a lot of their virtual goods (mainly skins) can cost anywhere from five to even thirty dollars (the mecha Miss Fortune skin was about that much when it was first released, I haven't checked it recently). And emotes are like five bucks for one emote. I don't want to spend five bucks just to have a specific image appear over my champion's head, or buy a tank of gas just so one of the champions I own looks cooler. Long story short, their virtual goods are way overpriced. And since you aren't buying the good (just the right to use it), I'd rather spend that money to get a game on steam instead.

Edit: I think the Asian region is their biggest focus. Places like Korea are a geek's paradise, where a pro gamer is as respected as a lead QB on an America football team. They get all the sponsors, they get to appear on commercials, and, most importantly, they get all the female attention. Hell, Clash Royale is as big there as football is here, and that's a game you play on your smartphone.

So true their idea of role ranks is one of the dumbest things I have ever read.
