Lee Sin's animation cancel on W + Q + R should be fixed ASAP

tl;dr if you were unaware, Lee Sin can cast his R in mid-air if he uses the second part of Q while in the middle of a W. The end result is that he gets a guaranteed ult off with no counter play. If he just takes Q without cancelling a ward hop, his R just queues and doesn't go off until he lands.

You can't flash or use mobility to escape this, because you're rooted during the casting time. Because the cast time is now occurring during his Q, it's impossible to Flash or use mobility between Q landing and the ult. If you Flash before the R, he continues to follow you with his Q.

9/10 times I have trouble with Lee Sin as an immobile mid laner, it's because they're exploiting this bug. I thought they were just BM'ing until I realized how this works. This should really be a high priority fix.

Riven's animation cancels were bugs at one point too. We all know what happened.

Riot are too stupid to do anything about it.. So they'll play it off as "skill expression" and keep it...

Look at Riven.. Can shit out all her damage in .2 seconds with the anim cancels...

Meanwhile Riot took a whole a year "reworking assassins" so they would have more "interplay" because "Assassins unloading all their damage too quickly was bad for gameplay"... Meanwhile Riven....

Riot are joke.. They contradict themselves, don't care about balance at all.. They do this crap just to make it look like they care. What they're really doing is injecting flashy crap into the game for "big plays".

Its called a drive by insec. Its been in the game ever since Lee Sin came out. Its only been disovered, what like 2 years ago?

Its such a situational combo and one of the hardest things to do on Lee Sin. Good luck pulling it off every single game, because as stated before, its high sotuational, and rarely seen in games.

Its not a “bug”.

Should we remove Yasuo’s ability to EQ onto a minion and R so that he gets a stack of of Gathering Storm even when he ults? Its called mechanics.

Don't want to elo shame or anything, but let me doubt that This mechanic is FAR from being widely known, and it is also far from being easy to pull off.

Lee Sin with that animation cancel can actually cast E R tiamat mid Q. Q W Q E R tiamat is the full possible combo. I think it might even be possible to sneak in an animation canceled auto in in that combo. Regardless, there IS video evidence of QWQERtiamat, and that is FAR too much damage in 1 combo to be acceptable (the total scaling is something like 6.8 AD ratio with like 1500+ base damage).

His base damages are so absurd that chinese Lee Sins have started building zhonya’s and/or protobelt for additional ridiculous plays/animation cancels.

Being 'outplayed' as Cassiopeia by a Lee Sin using this to ensure his kick gets off, even if I ult and stun him before he connects with me.

How has this not been fixed yet?

To clarify: When he does this and hit r in mid air, is he still following with second q or does he stop at the point where you were before you got hit with r?

It's not that easy to pull off, if a lee sin does that in game, then they are really good at him.
