Overspecializing and the Arms Race Fallacy

I keep warning you, you keep ignoring me, I unerringly predict exactly what's going to happen. How many times are we going to go through this cycle of madness?

Overspecialize, and you will not have an answer for anything that suddenly make that tactic stop working, and there are a TON of factors that can make that happen. I was proven right twice over the last game. Everyone went all AD melee assassin on both teams. I saw this and picked Taric and went pure armor. I was basically the only person on the team who could fight the enemy up to a 1v3 for a sustained period, and I ended up leading in assists three times over and hit the median in kills on the team. That doesn't even count contesting Dragon alone and shoving all three lanes to the hilt. But, two of our assassins had serious problems (as I predicted), and because I was all the crowd control on the team with my one single target stun, I was expected to brawl everyone AND peel for the entire team of extremely fragile assassins (as I predicted). We ended up losing because (again, as I predicted), no one was able to last very long in a fight because the enemy assassins were able to outscale them (once more, as I predicted), and I was too busy holding down three or more to be able to help anyone else.

And nobody noticed this, EVEN as I warned them before, during and after several dozen times, spelled it out clearly each and every time, and as the thousands of times before, I'm ignored, they double and triple down on their fallacious convictions and get clobbered and believe it's someone else's fault.

Why does nobody understand? What the fuck is going on with the community that nobody sees the fallacy that is the Assassin Arms Race? Trying to, as a team, outdamage an entire enemy team made of nothing but damage isn't going to work, going either way! The instant your tactic stops working, you have no answer for it, yet you continue to do it, thinking in vain hope that the next game will be different, even as the circumstances are the exact same and the outcomes have been the exact same going back for thousands, MILLIONS of games! I am literally losing my mind trying to stop people from falling into this pit trap endlessly, but they continue to do it. I can't even do anything but repeat myself endlessly and try to control the damage people are doing to me and themselves, then scream at me for it afterwards because they're too fucking blind.

So go ahead, downvote this thread into oblivion as you have with all my other ones. My faith in the community has cratered as they've entered this cycle of stagnation and failure.
