No one cares about your meaningless anecdotes where you state literally no other factors which automatically makes it completely irrelevant because any champion could do the same with certain factors.

Tank Fizz got nerfs it deserved. AP Fizz got nerfs it didn't deserve till 375 AP which isn't realistic till 4-5 or more items.

Well fizz did get nerfed too hard but against bad players he'll still kill them.

Maybe gold by now, matchmaking has fucked my MMR hard.

But it's ok, at this point the matchmaking is just making fun of me.

Not necessarily OP, but pretty good against a lot of things that were in the meta. It mostly saw use because it was a good flex pick. With 7.10 it'll be gone again anyway, so I wouldn't bother picking it up.

Well idk than, any assassin can pop off. If it was a 17 kills tank fizz that'd be horrible.

It's more about the irony if anything else.

I imagine they were the average boards poster who keep on posting about how everything is balanced and how awesome they are and know how to deal with everything and thus why nerfs on Fizz were unwarranted.

And then they get stomped, with the nerfed version and keep on getting caught out and unable to deal with it over and over again.

It has some unique hint of irony, almost like poetry. At the cost of my MMR of course, but who's counting at this point, it's already ruined.

Losing 75 base damage per cast on his main dps ability is not a buff.

it takes 375 ap to get the damage back, which is like way late game.

First I want to honor this threat. It is a positive exception of the most discussion which go for the actual Fizz nerf in 7.10. Normally are the reactions like "they should delete him" or "this wasn't enough" which are totally subjective and unqualified opinions and shouldn't be in this discussion (imo)

Secondly I'm personally happy other people see it like me and I'm also very sad that it didn't got enough attention yet (because Fizz still get banned in a insane rate, mostly of pure unreasonable panic. Fizz wasn't very strong before the nerf in mid and top. )

Of course Top-Bruiser Fizz is strong in the LCS or MSI but these are other kind of game than SoloQ or Normals. I also don't deny he is a strong champ but there are other champs out there who are at least at the same level. I personally also don't like Top-Bruiser Fizz mostly because of this reasons:

He is boring to play in compare to Mid
He is very annoying to hold against
Most of the time Riot like in this case just nerf him and doesn't give him anything back.

To Point 3 (and I hope this Discussion get more attention'):

The changes like a big part of the community doesn't know yet are actually nerfs. A few persons already said that here, but I can also illustrate it.

The new Fizz need on LVL 5 of his W now 357 AP to be as strong than the old one. That is nothing new, but because you don't build much AP on Fizz (usually item 3157 Zhonya's Hourglass, item 3100 Lich Bane, item 3152 Hextech Protobelt-01, maybe item 3135 Void Staff you get this much AP only at very late game cause all of these Items has a combined cost from about 11.250 Gold.

This Nerf is actually HUGE. He deals a lot less damage in the mid lane until a very late game and everyone knows the weak early from Fizz.

Fizz is actually a Champ who needs to go all in. High Risk, High Reward. But currently there is High Risk, nearly no reward. I hope for some kind of buff to ACTUAL compensate the loss of the basic damage.
