riot has millions of ARAM games to pull stats from to calculate power levels of champions. we can start making even teams instead of lopsided nightmares. calculate power levels of teams/champions and ensure even teams

see also: enable all champions so ARAM accounts can go fuck themselves.

ranked aram mode? i always thought ARAMs should be chiller and less serious than the other modes. I'd rather get the guys who salivate at the mouth over how champions should follow a strict meta out of my ARAM games

the power level thing is fine but when i play aram i dont want to get a bunch of useless champions ive avoided buying because theyre terrible on any map.

Mage, Assassin, Support, Marksman and Tank, Bruiser. If they could provide at least one of each role, that would be pretty reasonable but then you would be locked into a certain formula every match. Do you prefer chaos or orderly, hopefully balanced games with structure?

Ranked ARAM would be a fun alternative though. I don't play it because it doesn't have that and I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing except a little time to kill warming up for a match. ARAM accounts are fine though. The whole point is to play champs you enjoy. While some people like the randomness, I think most prefer what they are comfortable with.

Maybe you can pre-select a champion pool with a minimum of 8 choices that it randomly draws from for a ranked match so its competitive? Also provide 3 bans a side.

I can get behind this, if only because I see absolutely zero reason as to how implementing this would be a bad idea. My first vote personally goes to Riot enabling all champions on ARAM, because pushing people to buy champions just for one secondary game mode is dumb, and precisely the reason why we have ARAM-only accounts. If Riot doesn't want that for some reason, though, at least making more of an effort to balance teams out could eliminate some of the frustration with what is supposed to be a light, fun game mode.
