The offensive buffs are what the fire dragon is for. The fact that earth dragon gives you more power to kill the already fragile turrets makes it useless and even more snowbally. Earth should offer MR and armor so you can stop snowballing opponents from stomping the game one sided until you lose, and more importantly make each dragon unique.
GaleWinUnleashed2 votesThe idea is that the fire dragon offers raw combat stats, while earth dragon powers up your objective-taking. Having it offer defenses is a very direct combat stat, and honestly doesn't differentiate it much from fire. Both mean you're more likely to win a teamfight if it comes down to pure attrition.
It's entirely possible turret defenses might be buffed soon anyway, so we'll see how it looks if that happens.
Dealth1 votesThey are getting buffed.. They are going to 4000 > 3300 health but adding 40 armor and mr.
So they have 15.5% more efficient health. But now they are subjected to armor and magic penetration.
