Why people understimate AD Fizz now?

I just managed to win a battle even though the enemy ADC was incredibly fed; I was using AD Fizz. After the nerfs, people act as if AD Fizz has been completely gutted and is unviable and if you play him, you are trolling and making your team lose. Which is just not the case. He is as viable as ever. AD Fizz was nerfed and this is a fact, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible to play him anymore. To be honest he was slighty buffed due to being introduced and this is a new item that AD Fizz can make lots of uses. There is also another new item that AD Fizz can potentially use:

fizz doesnt have any ad scalings anymore, so its like building ad lulu jungle, it works yeah, but its kinda weak

Fizz never had any AD scalings, even when he was considered broken.

Speaking of which, old Tristana never had any AD scalings either, and everyone seems to agree that she was better as an ADC than as an AP champion.

He is completely unviable unless you build full AD as they crushed his base damages making it so building tank AD is just garbage on him. You can do it, but there are 50 better picks than AD fizz

His W has a lot of synergy with Blade of the Ruined King, his Q has synergy with Spellblade procs + Sterak's Gage.

Irelia is basically a better AD fizz. Better cc, better dash, better onhit damage, the only thing she doesnt have is the untargetability, which does no damage on ad fizz.

Lowered Base Damages is pretty big but the main reason for AD Fizz was that his Ult gave you APC levels of burst while going bruiser. His Ult doesn't apply to physical dmg anymore... Devourer/Wit's End/Nashor's builds still synergize with his kit, but Tri-Force and BORK lost that aspect.

Well, at the early game, most of AD Fizz's damage is magic. Tri-Force is still necessary for the Spellblade procs which have god synergy with Fizz's kit, and also for the Rage passive that allows him to stick to enemies. Sometimes I replace it with Iceborn Gauntlet for the armor and the slow and because it is cheaper too.

BotRK is also necessary due to its synergy with W.

Wit's, Nashor's and Devourer have stronger W synergy than BORK now. If you feel like you need BORK+Tri Force sticking power on Fizz idk what you're doing. He already has the highest sticking power in the game with his kit.

It's because they made his ult only have magic damage he deals increased instead of all damage.

The people you were playing must have been awful then, cause AD bruiser/tank Fizz is quite awful now. His ult was changed to no longer increase physical damage, and the ratios and values on his W were changed so building blade doesn't give automatic synergy anymore.

It's just not very good anymore, it still works in certain match ups, but it's quite awful in general.
